Lassen RV Park & Campground — Reviews

The campground is well thought out, leval sites, utilities & amenities in good working order. Super nice owners. Cute color coded walking paths. Only downside was stickers, wish spot and pathways were mowed.

Very quiet area and the site was in great shape. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Wonderful trails and camp spot, unfortunately the weather was cold and rainy so didn't get to enjoy a lot of time outdoors.

Stash was an AMAZING host. He helped us with anything we needed. Gave us recommendations for places to eat as well as other businesses we needed for out trip there. The grounds were well kept, the hot water in the bathrooms was never ending and the grounds were stunning. I would 100% recommend this site for others to camp at!!!!

Nice site - clean bathrooms and adequate showers. The water in the shower was great.

The RV park was great. Very large and wide pull through spaces and the sites are far apart too. I knocked off one star because it’s really not that close to Lassen National Park. It’s over an hour drive just to get to the park entrance.There are at least four other RV parks 30+ miles closer to the Lassen Park entrance. I would recommend staying here if your main goal is a nice stop along your route east out of California. I think the name of the park is a bit deceptive.

Was quiet. Near what we wanted to see and had some amenities

This resort is a gem of a spot in the middle of nowhere. Its about an hour and 30 minutes from Mount Shasta and about 45 minutes from Burney Falls. The resort had large spacious campsites. The entire campground was peaceful and quiet. There are amazing walking trails within the properties boundaries and there is an amazing overlook at the west edge of the property giving fantastic sunset views of Mount Shasta.

Very clean camp ground. Lots of short trails and pool was very clean but cold. Would definitely stay again.

Everyone we met was so nice…we wished we could have stayed longer. And we absolutely LOVED the “Alice in Wonderland” trails with all the forest art. We had to eat dinner at 8pm because we just wanted to keep exploring the amazingly creative trails until dark!! Thanks for the wonderful experience 😊

Neat clean large site quiet and beautiful sunset.

Great campground! Was planning to stay for 6 nights and extended it to 10 while I got my truck worked on. So quiet and peaceful. Loved walking the trails and doing some birdwatching. Only downside was not having potable water the last two days, but a plastic gallon and pack of bottled water were given to us.

Large sites, true camping in the forest, beautiful trails , awesome scenery close to the Burney falls and fish hatchery

This campground is one of the best we have visited. The owners are wonderful, there is so much to do for all ages. The trails are perfect, they have little paintings along the way, so cute and interesting. The sites are spacious and level.

We enjoyed the serenity of the park in fall as well as exploring the walking trails decorated with folk art to mark the paths.

Exceptionally large flat sites, very clean property and restrooms. Loved the very well marked walking trails. Felt safe even though the park was minimaly occupied.

Very nice camp ground, very helpful staff! The trail system for walking and biking was very cool. We are already planning our next stay.
