Best RV park we've been to yet and we travel 3-4 times a year for the last 15 years. Great amenities and very clean. I especially like small rock in the ground and is better than walking on dirt.

We had issues with the access fobs even after being replaced more than twice. This was really annoying as we had to use the exit gate to come back in and security was not available. It took me going to the office slightly upset to get new fobs and having someone test the fobs before saying they worked. After that was resolved we had a good time but it did sour part of our stay.

This was so far the best RV resort we have experienced. Newly renovated facilities, friendly staffs, and great BOBBER restaurant! We spent two nights at a lakeside campsite and enjoyed the beautiful moon and lake at night. My son said he wanted to stay for another 100 nights there. The only issue we had was the pedestal’s shore power failed to charge our Tesla. The EV connector was flashing a red light which meant “ground fault” according to ChatGPT. I checked our neighbor’s pedestal, which came with the same issue. ChatGPT identified it as a camp wide “Ground current leakage” which sounded dangerous. I reported to the management the next day. It was tricky as the shore power charged my trailer perfectly without any issue. Some said it was because it was not designed to charge EV. However, ChatGPT gave a different opinion. See it below. ⚡ About Launch Pointe at Lake Elsinore This is a well-known RV campground in California. Many Tesla/EV owners have reported intermittent charging failures there, especially at older 14‑50 pedestals. Typical reasons in this type of large RV park: • Older electrical infrastructure with neutral-ground bonding errors. • Shared neutrals among multiple sites, creating leakage current paths. • High soil moisture or corrosion inside pedestals causing unintended ground paths. • Overloaded subpanels with voltage imbalance. These problems don’t usually stop RVs (which don’t check for ground faults as strictly), but Tesla’s mobile connector is specifically designed to refuse to charge if it senses even tiny current leakage. ⚠️ 1 Red Flash = Ground Fault Detected • This means the Tesla charger measured current leaking to ground—a real safety hazard.

Easy check-in. Even for Memorial Day weekend it didn’t appear to be too busy. showers could use some more hooks or shelf/bench to place your items onto. Overall very clean secure campground.

3 out of 5. Upon checking in, a front desk representative, advised that the wearing of wristband identification was being enforced. However, approximately 90% of the guest at the pool on the 10th and the 11th of May, were not wearing them. There are a few other concerns that I’d like to mention and give feedback on, but I don’t there isn’t space in this response box to elaborate.

Lots of kids… one decided to use my Starlink antenna as a ramp and drove his bicycle over it. Quite hours were not observed or enforced. One kid had an electric mini bike and he had a smaller child on the seat in front of him. Wearing flip-flops and no helmets. Going just as fast as that thing would go… accident just waiting to happen.
