Lazy Acres RV Park — Reviews

The advertisement for this camping location is a complete lie. There is nothing at this location except a field with tiny concrete pads for the camper to Pull on, water , power and sewer that is all. The website lists a dog park, pool, general store, live music, wifi. Theres is nothing wrong with a plain field and the items here but is should state what it actually is like to stay here. It should also say that it is very difficult to make the turn into the campground unless you have a little camper or rv.

It was just what we wanted. Quiet and convenient to some very good barbecue. I would stay there again when in area.

Great place to stay and rest. Quiet and peaceful. Owners are kind and extremely helpful. Coming back!

Just to be clear, as of 2025 there is no public water or public bathrooms/pit toilets other than the hook ups. We use our camper potty only for liquids, so that took some planning! But we were in town for college football and really only wanted a place to sleep, so it met our needs just fine.

The campground has potential, but we have no water and no Wi-Fi.

With the convenience of being so close to town and then the atmosphere of being in the country, the two mixed for a quiet, relaxing weekend. The park is new but once things are complete, it will be a perfect for a great weekend getaway. We didn't get a chance to explore the lake on the property but was able to ride buy it and it was awesome. The little town outside of where the park is located was great to explore nd visit too. I recommend those that want a quiet, not busy weekend, please try out the Lazy Acres RV Park.
