Friendly helpful and welcoming hosts

I really didn’t felt safe a this place, with people walking through the sites a any time of the day or the night. A lot of the setups on the campground are accumulating trash. And the host does not enforce the rules like keep your dog on leash or the noise or clealyness. I left after one day of the two nights stay i stayed. No provacy at all

It was confusing to figure out our site. No check in office or anything. Online reservation did not give a site number, so we didn’t know where to park. After about 10 minutes of us circling the small park, a guy walked out of his camper and said “this is your spot”. It was so muddy we had to park to the very edge of the site and put our step out on the grass if the next site. There was about 5 or 6 other vacant sites and we asked if we could take one of those and he said, “no, someone got those reserved ,and this is all that’s left. Yu oh can take this one try another place!” We stayed for 2 nights, and nobody ever came to the vacant ones. It also advertised bathrooms and showers. There was one shower door….when you open it there was just two stalls there. No privacy and either male or female could go in. We were not impressed at all. But the museum there was very nice and impressive.

There was a ton of noise that went on into the early hours from one of the campers and nothing was ready done to address it. Also it should be made clear on your website that the water is not potable.

I don’t like leaving a negative rating so I’ll start with their positives. Liked that u could bring your own firewood that’s always a plus. They also have some energy museum on property there too if that’s your sort of thing. Give it a 2- star mainly for it’s location though. Thought it was a little overpriced too for what they have to offer. It’s basically set up in a farmers field right next to the highway. (Great view lol) There are next to no trees. The lots are very close to one another and there is no privacy or shade whatsoever.

Word of advice…..if it is raining or it’s been raining don’t book….its a muddy…..I hated it…NR on that place!!!!

It was very interesting to be right next to the Canadian Energy Museum. Never heard of it, BUT a must see if you are in the area. Showers and bathrooms were clean.

Drive through sites were easy to get into as well as nice and level. Could definitely use some upkeep on grass. Have to be careful when walking around campground as well as in your site because there are so many gopher holes and some are quite large…easy to twist an ankle

The facilities were sparse considering the fee paid. The campground host was very gracious and accommodating.
