Lighthouse Beach RV Park — Reviews

This RV park is run down. The restrooms were dirty and full of bugs and cockroaches. The grass by the camp sites was unkept and looked like it had t been mowed in months. There is no attendant at the gate and directions are very unclear as to what your paying for so I ended up with an annual pass and paid the nightly fee once I was able to figure out the web site. I’ll never be back, so the annual pass is a waste. The place is overpriced and run down. We came to Aransas and paid less and this park is awesome.

The location, facilities and staff were great. We found this at the last minute and immediately fell in love with the pier fishing, beach volleyball and walking trail.

We had a great time.

park manager was very helpful RR/Showers were clean.

Minus: Hook-ups were in a poor location for the southern sites. Continual traffic all night long. Plus: Clean and well maintained. WiFi worked well.

Liked the place but should have been warned there was a $5 per day to get into the park. Was not happy about finding that out at the unattended gate.

Restrooms are clean, whole park is clean. Nice beach, large pool (it was closed during our visit but it was a nice looking pool), and great fishing

It's a clean, and very nice spot to camp out at. Only thing I didn't like is I didn't get a code for the showers.

Need someone there full time to monitor campers. Beach is very poor kept with debris from one end to the other. It needs combed regularly and is clearly not. Grass was knee high in areas and grass is taking over sand. The tops of the stone table covers has tar and shingles blown all over the place.

Weather wasn't very good this day. But I can't complain. Coming down from Fort Hood. Great, relaxing, and fishing was amazing

Love this place so peaceful!!! Love the splash pad,the playgroud and beach all in one place and walking distance. This is our new go too!!!

Easy to get back into wonderful setup. We only stayed the day because that was our plans. It was great to have a spot to put the RV and do some fishing and let the kids play at the playground.

Spot was great, spent time at both the beach and the splash pad. Kids had a great time
