Linger Lodge RV Park — Reviews

Nice place. Quiet. Neighbors cooked jerk chicken-yum. Lots of devastation in the neighborhood from Milton, but it was all collected on street sides, ready to be collected. We were there two Sundays, and workers were out collecting both of those days.

Considering it was only a week after hurricane Milton, the park was open and no debris evident. I found the campground very clean and our site was level. Some people have provided negative comments about the two foot wide concrete landing paths that you must back up your trailer on to. Personally, I did not have an issue with this. Conveniently located off State route 70 near Lakewood Ranch. The Linger Lodge restaurant is very good and recommend having a meal there. The facilities are extremely clean. We would definitely utilize Linger Lodge on future visits to the area.

Easy Check in. Helpful staff when backing into site. Very clean even after a flood. Nice location.

Quiet, helpful staff, clean well kept grounds.

Our site #13 was extremely tight for our coach with slides on both sides. The pad is concrete strips so you cannot maneuver to hug one side. We could not use the picnic table which was almost sitting on the neighbors sewer connection. Other than a bad site, there are others I would pick in the future. It is a nice quiet and well kept park. The clubhouse and pool were great and the resturant did not disappoint. Would go back to a different site.

Nice, well kept campground. The Linger Lodge restaurant being within an easy walk was a plus. Nice big dog park. A nature preserve trail was nearby. Reason I didn’t give five stars was because of there being too many bright lights on at night making it hard to sleep from our site by the clubhouse and dog park. Would stay there again in a different spot.

Way to expensive for what it has to offer. Pool is nice, but too cold. Bathrooms new and clean. However everything is plastered in asphalt and concrete. The „jungle“ lots are more of a concrete jungle, with only small palms and a little grass inbetween. They are not level either. Restaurant doesn‘t have any tables for camping guests.

Our first stay was great! The entire park is clean and up to date. Very friendly staff. We’ll definitely stay here again!

The park is new or recently renovated All the amenities and the staff very friendly. Had a great stay. Would definitely come back.
