Lions Flatbed Creek Campground — Reviews

Location in Tumbler is good for hiking and outdoor activity. Trails and creek available for swimming right beside the campsite. No drinking water available at campsite so bring lots ahead of time or buy at Freshmart in town. Bathrooms and shower were useable but a little dirty and run down.

It was good, but I definitely have a problem paying a reservation fee! Why should I pay a fee when I'm making your life easier???? I wont reserve again, you can come collect the money.

Pros - The campsite itself was great! Spacious, fairly private. The creek is so fun and loved the hiking trails. The playground is wonderful too Cons - The shower/ bathroom situation need a serious update. Its pretty gross. We weren't given a heads up that a wedding was booked and partying went well past midnight. For what's being charged per night it would be nice to get power to the site. All in all I would definitely stay there again because of its location and activities.

Great view, clean sites. 30 Amp hookups with water will improve this popular RV location. Thank you!

The campground is well maintained, and the showers are hot!

The location for this campsite is excellent - it was full all weekend. The gentleman in charge of the site (Unit #27) was extremely helpful and kind. The only negative comment that we have is that the number of bathroom stalls for the number of campers/campsites wasn't very good and the washrooms were pretty grotty after a full days use. That said, this is our campground of choice in TR - we're aware of its limitations and the good things far outweigh the negative.

The campground was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the beauty of the outdoors at Flatbed Creek Campground and also took a 5-1/2 km hike ( on a well maintained trail that connects to the campsite) up to some gorgeous waterfalls! Thank you for making this get-away possible!

Washrooms need to be cleaned well.

Not a terrible campground. If your in need of a simple place to park your RV and a nice playground for the younger kids, it's great. Don't forget your leveling blocks, some sites are not great.

what have give it five stars bathroom need abit more attention by the end it was not as clean and run out of toilet but the stay was great stuff was friendly

Great playground for the kids, and we all LOVED the spot beside the river. We will definitely be back.

Only problem was not getting the spots I reserved when paying online. Other than that, the park was clean and had a friendly attendant. Firewood was a good deal and delivered to your spot. Nice walking trails and hikes right nearby to some waterfalls and swimming areas.

Easy to find staff they were friendly and helpful, wood delivered to site whenever we needed it. Spot was nice and campsite was quiet and clean! Love staying here
