Lostfork Basecamp — Reviews

This was our first time to Lostfork and everything was awesome. Bailey and Charlie were spot on and there when you needed them. We will definitely be back.

The site is beautiful with clean and incredibly nice accommodations! There are not fire pits at the individual campsites, which was not clear enough from the description. Also we were woken up by the neighbors digging a well. The heavy machinery sounds and smell of fumes was not the time in nature we were looking for. All we were offered was to switch sites, which was nice, but not enough to salvage our experience.

Clean, quiet, beautiful. People walked through our RV site (9) to cross a bridge over the stream. No fire pits at each site. We would visit again.

What a great little hidden gem!! Randomly wanted a place to camp for a couple nights that wasn't too far from home. Just to get away for a little bit. Randomly stumbled upon this place! It's only been open for a few months, but they have created a great little retreat! Half of the setup is for tents and RV's, and the other half has adorable little cabins to rent with a shared common area with bathrooms, showers and even SAUNAS!! I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone!!

This part was perfect, nice level spots backing up to the creek, the bathrooms were spotless and the sauna!! Wow never have we had a sauna overlooking a creek at a rv park!

This is the finest campground we have ever stayed at anywhere! Beautiful scenery, grounds, upkeep, location, and the staff was absolutely amazing! We will stay here again!

Gem of a campground / RV Park. New, well maintained, great setting on a creek, small park. Very good utilities. The park has self serve check in. You get an email on morning of arrival with instructions and codes. It's easy and very straight forward. Just note all RV sites are back in and 90 degree angle on the stream.

Very nice campground with full hookups. Beautiful location with mountains on both sides and a river running along the sites. Super clean bathrooms, 2 saunas and a huge fire pit to enjoy. Barbecue grills and a Blackstone are available for guests. There are several hammocks to enjoy while relaxing and grassy areas for walking the dogs. Also,available is an area for weddings or events across the river. It's a very quiet place to stay. The campground is only 2 months old.

Quiet, peaceful, with great amenities. The grounds were well maintained. Loved the fact there were only 9 RV spots - so it had an exclusive feel.

This is a beautiful property! The campsites are well maintained. The bathrooms available are phenomenal. The evening communal campfire was a lot of fun! A couple things to know before you go: not all campsites have picnic tables, and you cannot have a bonfire of your own. If you want a fire by your campsite, be sure to bring a propane fire pit!

Nice location right outside parklands and trails, only about an hour to Denver. Rv sites back onto a creek. Bathrooms clean, lots of grills available for use, 2 saunas- really a nice place!

What a wonderful place! Well kept, right by the river, hammocks out front, and friendly hosts. Thank you, see you next summer!
