The place was clean and convenient, but there was no access to showers as announced. As we don’t have a big trailer with shower that was a bit of a surprise.

No shower facilities. Minimal staff assistance, horrible road noise due to proximity of the highway (no sound barriers. Site setup was well planned and individual sites were large.

Brand new RV park that is basically a gravel parking lot with a real pretty lake and 5 or 6 trees. The owners are working really hard to build a nice park, but it is not there yet. No bathroom or shower facilities as of June 2024 but they told us they are coming. Freeway noise will be noticeable, try for a spot on the far side of the lake as far from the freeway as possible. It was “intolerable” due to freeway construction going on, but that’s not the park’s fault, just bad timing for us. Nice general store and fantastic laundry room because everything is new. Hopefully they’ll get this place closer to a resort. Now it’s just a trailer park.

We had the best stay at Lucky Lake, the campground was beautiful and the access to the lake for kayaking was great! We went to the store several times the food was great and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. The park is still being developed and will be very nice when complete. Only drawback is there is a lot of noise from the interstate, but almost all parks in the area have the same situation. Great for a overnight stop or shorter stay.
