Maitland Shores Resort — Reviews

Rated5.0out of 5Fantastic!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **One of the best campgrounds around!** We had an amazing time at Maitland Shores. There is truly something for everyone here — great camping, excellent fishing, hunting nearby, ATV trails, boating, and plenty of outdoor activities. The location is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxing, and there is so much to do without having to go far. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful camping getaway or an adventure-filled weekend, Maitland Shores has it all. **Definitely one of the best campgrounds to visit in Ontario. We’ll be back!**

Nice setting, good facilities and friendly people ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing experience at Maitland Shores RV Park & Marina! The campground is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. The waterfront location is fantastic, and there are lots of great outdoor activities nearby. The sites are spacious, the facilities are clean, and the atmosphere is perfect for families, friends, and anyone looking to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Having access to the marina, boat launch, fishing, swimming pool, and so many other amenities makes this a great place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed our time here. We highly recommend Maitland Shores to anyone looking for a great RV campground in Ontario. We will definitely be coming back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

False advertisement. There was nothing for the kids. The pictures showed a water slide, blow up castles and much more for the kids and they didn't have any of it. Had no wifi for the whole time we were there. First and last time I would be going there.

No picnic table with standard no service site. The slide was not working. No water toys to rent ex; kayak, canoe, paddle boat. No beach walking distance. No firewood or ice to buy in the park. Dead fish on the shore line. River not clean to swim. Pool was warm! Most people were friendly!

Great family campsite. Water/electricity hookups were great! We loved the DJ dance party on the Saturday!Staff were friendly. Campsite is down the street from Maitland Public Beach. Music from other campers went on a little late on the one night, but other than that, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back!

There were some good activities for kids with the pool, slide and playground. I guess it depends on what your idea of camping is. Camp sites pretty wide open with little shade and had non stop people just walking through our site, which was a little annoying.
