Mara Lake RV & Beach Club — Reviews

We had a wonderful stay at Mara Lake RV & Beach Resort! The entire property was exceptionally clean, well-maintained and incredibly organized. The cabins looked beautiful and the hot showers, spotless washrooms, and sauna were such a welcome bonus after a day of exploring. The RV sites are on the smaller side but they are thoughtfully laid out and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. What truly made our visit special was the outstanding hospitality. Co-owner and manager Kim went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and was an absolute pleasure to meet. If you're looking for a friendly and relaxing place to stay on Mara Lake, I highly recommend this resort.

Clean, pretty and peaceful. On the property, you can hear water / creek running into the lake. There’s beach access with a community fire pit, clean washrooms with ice machine and snacks available for a fee. Smaller property so feels very private with less people walking around. We were pleasantly surprised how nice it is and will return.

Noisy, tight campsites, difficulty parking

Great Campsite/RV Site. We stayed for 2 Days and had a really good experience. There was a Campfire Ban active but we could use the Community BBQ and rented a propane Firepit for Smores. The Lake is great. Washrooms and Showers clean. 5/5 would stay here again

Great place with a nice beach and we had a boat slip too. Nice. A bit crammed in we were a tent in between several cabins - no privacy! Ok for us we spent all day in the boat but for some that crammed in is an issue. Bathroom was clean and nice.

The view, beach, people are all exceptional! Very family friendly location!

I sent an email asking if the site was suitable for 2 small tents. No reaction. When we arrived it was a spot of gravel of about 9 m2. In between two cabins. I recommend to go elsewhere as we did….

Lovely stay again at Mara Lake Rv & Beach Club. Enjoyed the lake and our creek side camp spot. Kim communicated well pre trip answering all our queries. Jim kept the site well maintained and entertained us with campfire stories. Great trip!

Location, view and beach. Had great help getting into the right spot. Only observation that could use improvement, would be the entrance needs to be a bit wider for easier turn in with a fifth wheel. Great spot

Bed was too small.

It was horrible. The campground is right next to the hwy 97A. We were literally 50 feet from constant traffic all night. The campsite was on a significant slope. We couldn't even level the trailer. The smell of rotting vegetation the has across the driveway from us was disgusting. There is no manager on site at all. You show up and figure it out yourself. We paid $112.00 for a night that was a total disaster.

Very loud so close to the road.

We ( my girlfriend and her family, my Partner myself and our puppy )had the whole place to our selves from Monday -Sunday, so relaxing, a little chilly, peaceful, beautiful fires and amazing memories were made!!

Is this place a scam? No signage or lights on property visible from the winding road access. Could not locate it in the dark. Could not see a marked address the next morning. No phone number to call. Number on invoice led nowhere. Had to go to another rv resort further down road. Even they

Bathrooms and lake are beautiful! Need to make getting wifi easier and information about services in a welcome booklet.

Very accommodating, everyone was very nice, clean and quiet , would stay again!
