Mascoma Lake Campground — Reviews

The site was exceptionally small, essentially a parking spot. The bathrooms had broke fixtures and it appears the out of order in the bathrooms have been in place for a long time. The campground needs attention. I wouldn’t recommend it and doubt I would return.

I had gotten into a car sccuden the date of check in and couldn’t make it. I emailed and called several times during that time period with no response till that money. Wouldn’t give me a refund due to 30 day cancellation notice. That isn’t fair I would have been there if I could even sent pictures to prove I was in an accident and I still don’t my car back. I feel I should of gotten my funds return or at least schedule me for another time no response to that.

Overcrowded, bathrooms were dirty and they only have wifi in half of the campground. The campground is located on a step hill which made waking difficult.

Family oriented place. People were very friendly and the lake was very pleasant. The tent site was pretty small but had water and electric hook up. Showers and bathrooms were clean. We were just caught by surprise by not having a grill by the fire pit and the showers only working if you pay with quarters. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. Thank you.

Awesome campground and beautiful lake. My parents have had a seasonal spot for 7 years. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming.

Very kind and welcoming people, beautiful lake. We stayed at a cabin rental and just want to note that the screens in the windows + the door do not fully block out bugs/potentially animals. There’s 2-3 inches of open space under the door where anything could creep in and the screens seem to be a smaller size than the windows themselves so we frequently kept them closed and chose to have the stifled air instead to keep out unwanted guests. Showers are 25 cents for 5 minutes, does warm up quick but definitely wear flip flops! One bathroom has a sink that backs up, the other has a toilet that sprays water from the base (the caulking looks broken so the toilet lifts) when one sits down. Color me surprised at my wet shoes and pants the first two times it happened and finally realized why, haha. Pros outweigh the cons! Enjoy and be aware :)
