McClure Point Campground and Recreation Area — Reviews

There are times in the year that this could be enjoyable. However June 1-6 not so much. Camp sites are rock very little shade and it was 90 degrees.

We really enjoyed our time there. It’s quiet and clean. Staff was very nice and helpful.Check in was quick

Beautiful camping spot.

The site was clean, level and easy to back into. I would have given it a 5 star but it didn’t have a fire ring. We requested a fire ring twice and was told they would bring one to us. We never got one. We considered taking one from another site but didn’t want who ever got that site not to have one. We were happy with everything else.

Check in at 4pm is too late and paying $15 extra to come in at 2pm is not worth it....no fire ring...

this was such a beautiful and peaceful spot to go camping. Everyone respected everyone's peaces and there was no loud music.

It’s a great place to camp. Love the view of the lake.

It was a bit confusing locating the camp site. Very disappointed with the dump station closed, had to travel somewhere else and pay to dump. An advanced notice would have been appreciated. The view was spectacular, the site was very clean, very spacious. We had a fabulous time. We will be returning.

Because we love camping there. Also only issue was I would have liked if the restrooms were open.
