Meadowbrook Camping Area, Maine — Reviews

We had great week at Meadowbrook this September. 16f is a 50 amp/ FHU/gravel to dirt site. On a hillside and unlevel enough to require boards on left side. The site was long enough for our 40ft coach and towed parked in front. Adequate WiFi and satellite friendly. Owners were friendly and very helpful. The lobster dinners at the office area nightly were great and reasonably priced. They allowed my non-lobster loving wife to bring her own food to the table, and if you have corn or want to bring your own butter it’s fine with them. They also offer to bring the cooked lobster dinner to your campsite. The campground is close enough to Bath and other cities for day trips. The Maritime museum and boat tour are worth a visit.

Perfect place for our visit! Site 55A was outstanding, wooded area with a spacious site. Super friendly host! They have a lobster well and you can buy lobsters that they will cook for you and bring to your site!

Lovely campsite with lots of rocks. I love the old rock fire pits. Could’ve used one more bathroom.

The office folks were friendly and our site was easy to back into. Loved that they had a little restaurant and enjoyed the lobster they had available at a sensible price!

First time camping and will be a repeat customer. The camp ground was spread out but still close enough to walk to thr bathrooms and store. They do karaoke on saturday nights which was wicked fun. The camping tent areas were a good size. I suggest paying thr little extra to chose the exact site you want. All staff was friendly. The food was very good, with good prices on everything.! We cant wait to go back

They were very responsive to my requesting a site change. Great spot w/a restaurant onsite. Family campground. No hot water in the shower tho

Nice people very helpful . Site was average. Quite for the most part. Food was good . Like most campgrounds 80% of the campground folks live full time. Which limits the choices somewhat for travelers. Very convenient to get to Booth bay Harbour, Bath, Kennebunk port, popham beach.

The bathrooms need updating, and more regular cleaning and restocking. The women's side had 4 stalls, but only two of them could be locked, and one of those was without toilet paper for at least 2 days. The showers were decent. There was a good band playing on Saturday night. Overall a good experience here, but some attention to details would make it a great experience.

Campsite was lovely, nice amenities, close to attractions, friendly and helpful staff.

We loved the camp overall. However, a car parked right next to our camper because the sites were so small. It would have been a much better camping experience if sites were spaced apart more and gave everyone more space. We only stayed for a short period of time and really didn't experience everything the campground had to offer.

Out of the way, quiet, spacious RV sites . . . but . . . mosquitos!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We booked super late in the evening and they made our stay just as pleasant as any other. We didn’t come as prepared as we normally would and they had anything we needed at the office/store. The seasonals were so welcoming; they gave us extra firewood and helped us get a good fire going, gave us a canopy to stay dry in the rain, invited us to their own gatherings and brought us shares of what they were eating. We’ve never been to a campground that feels like family as much as this one does. We will definitely be back!

Good campground, loved by many! Check-in process is easy, campground is quiet, my dog loved it! What could make it better: Fix the locks on all the women's bathroom stalls; operate the snack shack during the hours listed in your handouts; improve your food by using salt, spice, and sauce.

This is a great campground. Clean, family owned and operated business (3 generation at least). Friendly folks. Also they deliver food to your campspot! Great breakfast and dinner! Dinner options include lobster, corn on the cob and baked potato. All were excellent and very reasonably priced! Highly recommend!!
