Memorial Park Campground — Reviews

Rated5.0out of 5Fantastic!
It was quiet, well kept & lots of wild life to watch!!! The rest rooms/showers were very clean!! The park managers Scott & Gayle were very nice and accommodating!!! Very nice park and we will come back again.

The campground was quiet and well maintained. It had a clean area for morning and evening hygiene duties. Several classic car enthusiasts were camping @ Memorial that evening, and they were highly respectful of fellow campers. Our tent site was kept up well, and we had an enjoyable stay @ Lake Kampeska. Thank you.

It's a lovely county-owned park that's well-managed. I stayed for 7 nights by myself in a tent site (T5) and the staff and all I encountered were lovely. The grounds are well maintained and the facilities are cleaned regularly. The walking trails, parks and campsites are great. I came to get out 0f the 110 degree heat in Houston TX and the breezes we're lovely.

We had a great time and we were also tenting at T1. It was well shaded and peaceful. Not partying and tons of families. Will come again!

Showers closest to right when you pull in are not the cleanest. There was mold spots on the walls and in the corners a bit of nasty stuff but other than that things were great!
