Everyone was helpful the Lady in office was so nice Would stay again

The campground was clean, quiet, and full of amenities and activities. We stayed for four nights over Labor Day weekend and had a fabulous time. We enjoyed Bingo on Friday, spent Saturday at the pool for patriotic music and trivia, and ended the night at Merry Meadows Got Talent. The hiking trail (Skunk Path) through the woods and along the creek was a huge hit with my family — we walked it every day. The bathhouse on the lower side of the campground was well maintained and functional. The folks in the office were kind, attentive, and answered all my questions. They even loaned us an adapter for the electric hook-up at our site, which was greatly appreciated. A few things to note: the entire campground sits on a hill (be prepared for a lot of climbing) the Wi-Fi didn’t work during our stay, and the camp store was a bit lacking. Overall, though, we had a wonderful visit and enjoyed the holiday weekend. We would definately recommend this campground to our friends or return for another stay.

We love the staff family everyone was so very nice and accommodating when we needed extra time to lodge they were quick to meet our needs. It was beautiful safe and bey relaxing even when we thought it was going to be stressful after our breakdown of our truck.

Oh boy. We stayed here a few years ago and had a poor experience. We decided to give it another try because everyone deserves a second chance. Some of the emails I received ahead of checking in were confusing: the rules say no golf carts but the check-in email talked about bringing golf carts. I called and found that you can only bring a cart if you are seasonal with them. The lady that I spoke with was pleasant. Checking in was an easy process. The staff in the office were joking with me and I was in and out quickly as there was no line. I made my way around the campground and found it difficult to navigate. The roads were not clearly marked with signs. I arrived at my campsite and was dismayed by what I saw. The site was overgrown and had poison ivy around it on one side. I had to break out a machete to get to the water hookup because of the weeds. The site size was quite nice though. The amenities at this campground are plentiful but not all are included with your camping fees. For example, the hayride is an extra $2 per person. If this were a budget level campground, I could understand the extra fees but this place is more expensive than other similar campgrounds. The rules at the pool are strictly enforced but not clearly posted anywhere and seemed all over the place. For example, belly flops are not permitted but I can throw my kid in the air. Overall it seems like there is a class system between seasonals and transients. Seasonal campers bring their golf carts and seem to be allowed to have dogs off leash. The campground setting is amazing. Our takeaway last time is the same as this visit: with new ownership this could be an amazing spot.

Merry Meadows is our favorite place to "get away". Quite when you want and all kinds of activities if you are into that.

Great camp ground. Friendly service. Clean and something for everyone makes it a fun place to camp.

Our location was quite nice. The only thing we would have enjoyed would have been a spa/hot tub. We didn't even get a chance to go to the pool. One thing that we didn't understand was with all the amenities you have...where were all campers?

This place is awesome. Great place to bring small children. They have an arcade, a pool and some pretty nice walking paths. The front office is a time capsule from the 80s lol. We will definitely be coming back.

From the reception onward, everything was top notch.

We always have a great time here. Everything is clean and well-kept- everyone is friendly, and there are enough amenities to keep it interesting without it being overwhelming or busy. The only things I would suggest are finding a way for me to get more time off from work, so I can spend more time here, and getting some new shirts printed up so I can be a walking billboard!

Love this camp, lots of activities in camp and the nature around is beautiful, we stay here just for 2 nights and didn’t wanted to leave.
