No cell service. No wifi. Run down campground. Must travel awful road to get campground

The campground was good. We liked the location

The worst campground I’ve ever stayed at and I’ve been camping and RVing for many years. The road to our site was full of potholes and a dangerous crevice in the road that forced us to drive thru thick clay to avoid it but you really can’t because it takes over much of the road. Our truck and wheels full of clay and stones not to mention the damage it could cause to our vehicles. We booked two days but left after one night. Stay away from this place.

Our camp site was wonderful. There's a lot of attention needed in different areas.

very quiet , it’s the second time we stayed there. We just spend a night but it’s close to the Appalachian trail and the forest is beautiful!

Absolutely no one was available when we wanted to check in at 3:30pm and no one was there at 9:am when we were leaving. It took us little while to find our spot without a map, but we eventually found it. The scenery was beautiful, but the service is lacking.

Check in was easy. The campground was beautiful and quiet with clean bathrooms and showers. A sweet spot.

bathrooms were dirty, garbages overflowing, smelled. Person in office friendly but not knowledgeable. Tried to call the campground, no one answered the phone or returned my message

Our biggest concern is that no one manned the store, except for one day and only a couple of hours. Although we arrived prior to 7pm, there was no one there to explain the campground map and we accidentally drove out of the campground and it was very difficult to turn around while towing a 30 ft camper. Also, at no point in our 7 day stay could we buy ice or firewood- and since the campground was very remote it meant an almost 20 minute trip into town for those items. The campground itself was ok- our spot was great, but other parts of the campground looked old or run down (including the store that never seemed to be open). The inflatables on the lake were badly in need of air for most of our stay, but did get reinflated later in the week. We enjoyed our stay, but felt like the campground owners could have done a better job with providing basic supplies or at least communicating when they would be available.

Campground was basically shut down for the year, so it was at least quiet and fairly empty, but everything was really run down.

Very little upkeep in the campsite. No trash pickup after the busy weekend. Downed trees and rutted roads made travel very difficult around the property.

After getting over the 1-mile entrance road, I was good. My wife was a little upset no one was continually in office /store till explained things. Y'all were within a phone call and from what I saw nobody seemed to need to get in anyhow while we were there, including her. We were using this as a two-night rest stop and it worked great. Even though we did not use all that was available, we could see this is a great place for kids (young /old) to enjoy. I did put my feet in the stream. The road well, go out in morning, go into camp in afternoon. Worked for me. Not sure how the weekends would be. With National Forest and the River on your doorstep that gives many more things available. We came in Sunday afternoon. Have a great season.

Middle Creek is very relaxing with a lot of great people around. We enjoyed the fishing and the pool. By the way, the roads are just fine but I would recommend unhooking stablizers at 81 due to small hills creating funny angles. Highly recommend Middle Creek.

Nice place and staff was helpful and friendly they are working on the ground upgrading need a bathroom up top I would go back. And dumping station need upgrading

Tent car camping spaces are very small. Thankfully, I was the only tent car camper that night. Bathrooms are clean and the hiking trails nearby are wonderful.

Very clean. But no one was around to check us in or out. Someone answered the phone going in but not going out. No problems though.

This was an amazing stay for us. We had a campsite next to a creek without hardly anyone else around for 3 days. The restrooms were very clean and there was a camp store with a nice variety of items. Everything from check-in to check-out was awesome. Thank you Susan!

They called me the day I was going to arrive and told me the office would be closed which I had no problem with. They stated they were going to leave me the code for the bathrooms on the door and nothing was there so I had to go without a shower in the morning when we hit the road, which was very disappointing.
