Moffit Lake Recreation Area — Reviews

Moffit Lake has great accommodations and a very friendly camp ground staff. I cant wait to come back.

Everything was fantastic with the exception of what seems like a bee infestation in our area at c1 & c2.

Always great!! Awesome staff and very quiet. Everyone always seems to be to themselves by waving and continuing on their journey. The area is very relaxed and very welcoming. You will not find the grounds neglected, or abused. It seemed that staff were constantly making routine checks on trash and lawn maintenance, keeping the areas picture perfect! This camp ground appears to be working on a larger expansion to develop more opportunities for guests. Thanks guys !!!

The manager and ladies in the office were very nice and very helpful. The weather was very rough, and with all the construction going on, we had a lot to deal with mud wise, BUT it was expected and their friendliness more than made up for it. Was a great experience and already planning to be back multiple times! Beautiful view, and looks like they've got crews there working hard to make a lot of improvements before the season really kicks in! CALL AND DOUBLE CHECK before booking, as there is construction going on. *some spots are very off level and will not be able to even pull in with larger rig. We had 2 40ft RVs, and I would say about half the spots, you will not be able to even park at with anything 30ft+. So double check. Its a beautiful campground, BUT all the little roads/paved turn arounds etc, were definitely not designed in mind for large campers/rvs. There's certain areas where a pull behind camper WILL BOTTOM OUT. Do not arrive at dark if this is your first time.

The campsites are gorgeous and clean. The bathrooms were spotless and the staff was great. Can't wait to go back!

Tammy and the staff at Moffitt Lake are very friendly and professional. They will do their best to make sure you, the family or friends enjoy your stay. Glad to see and hear about the future additions to Moffitt Lake.

It was a beautiful place and the staff was great and gave us our privacy. The price for what was included was amazing. We will definitely plan our next getaway to Moffit Lake Recreation Area.

Other than the directions Google provided me (a single-track farm road that might be closed due to flooding) it was a nice place, easy in-easy out. Just a one nighter, but quick and painless.

It was the best campsite I have been to. Very clean and everybody there was friendly and helpful.

Very nice camp ground! Quiet and clean!

Great fishing, boating, and overall good time. Beautiful lake and surrounding grounds. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful, welcoming, and accommodating. We will be back! Thanks

Queit and very clean. Cabin and the bathouse. Friendly staff and good prices. Beautiful scenery. Had a great stay.

The weather was nice and our neighbors were great everybody had to do their part

We had a great time. No complaints whatsoever

We had a great spot and a great stay! Thank you very much. The only negative was there were LOTS of bugs.

From check in to check out, our stay was fabulous. The staff are so kind, professional and accommodating. We felt like they truly had a vested interest in how much we enjoyed our stay. They went above and beyond! The grounds and cabins are all extremely clean. This campground has come so far in such a short time. We've camped at Moffit for many years, but this was, by far, our best visit ever. The new management and staff are amazing. We will be back soon!
