Very nice RV park campgrounds in a wonderfully quaint little town. Water and Electric hookups with convenient bathrooms and showers centrally located. Also a 15 minute drive to Hartford where there is a Dollar General, laundromat, gas station and a small grocery store.

Campspot ground terribly uneven. We had to drive across a grassy area to access that should have been a pull through site. Our landing gear almost scraped the uneven ground. Work needs to be done to improve this park.

The campground is odd in that it’s mostly a city park with overnight stays. The name of this place should be correctly named to Montrose City Campground, which is its proper name. Camp Host was nice enough. No added amenities like a camp store, firewood or ice is available. In fact, bring your own firewood as no place around Montrose sells any. Same may go for ice.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Site had power water and dump (which was far aft, making it tougher to empty). Grass with poorly defined gravel parking spot. Entry was not easy because of posts that were hard to see and easy to hit. But we did fine with a 45 foot Class A RV, so it works. There had been a significant rain so there was a bit of mud around the site. However it was still solid for our heavy RV.

Campground was clean and easy to navigate. No formal location to check in, called camp host to check in (we did arrive around 6pm). All was as listed on website.

Everything about it was very nice! You should tell people that there is no office. You look for the trailer that says Camp Host.

The camp host seemed uniformed and interested in helping. However, the showers and restroom area was superb!

The area we clean, nice amenities with the pool and play area for children. Campground was very quiet. Signage in the town made it very easy to find the campground.
