Moose Lake City Campground — Reviews

Rated4.0out of 5Great!
The location is wonderful, especially with two younger kids. There are two playgrounds close and if you’d rather have more sand beach than is available at the campground, the city park/beach is right off the entrance to the campground. Only difficulty we had was with the geese.

Became very busy on Saturday, which is expected. At $50 per night, the sites are a little tight.

It was a nice spot close to town, biking and ATV trails. Restroom/shower building was nice and clean. They sell ice at the office. Two play grounds and big trees for shade. Only thing was lots of goose poo all over the beach. Did not allow the kids to play in the sand. I called the City and they said they are trying to do something about the problem but it didn’t look like they were doing anything.

Great campground. The beach was very close and fairly clean. Just make sure your directions lead you to the correct entrance.

Address on camp spot site is not correct, brings you in through a baseball field. Otherwise stay was excellent. Will definitely go again!
