Poor beach maintenance, people that have seasonal were rude and walked all over our campsite like we weren’t there . Bad maintenance all round , very very very tight spots ! Would not recommend! If you have a 5th wheel good luck barely fits ! And better like having someone’s window right next to yours !

Great, well kept campground and bathrooms. Peaceful on the lake. Fishing for pike. Sand beach swim area.

The place was very convenient and was nearer from road and right next to the lake . The morning view from tent 8 was amazing.

The campground is fine. Not great, not bad but fine. Start with the good. It’s right in town (as any city campground would be), on a lake, very reasonably priced, and clean. We didn’t use any of the bath facilities because we had full hookups though. The meh/bad things. The office/store is cashless. Putting a $3 bag of ice on a card (that was a process in itself) was inconvenient. The sites are small and crammed together. My site said it would accommodate a 45’ (I believe) but our 30’er was snug. There’s also a lot of seasonals mixed in with the weekenders so I felt like we were trespassing. If you camp here go to the Lazy Moose for breakfast. Awesome!

Nice place. Clean except for the goose poop. Dog and people friendly. Will be excellent when the trees get bigger.

My family loved this spot. The lake breeze, fishing docks steps away, beach and park right next door you really can’t ask for more! State park within 10 minutes driving. This town was friendly and unforgettably wonderful.

People didn't have some of the dogs on a leash and let them go in the beach area. We love this place and we have dogs as well.

Beautiful lake! Clear sandy bottom, great time camping and enjoyed the other people camping there as well. Overall, wonderful stay!!

Would I go back, Yes! Overall, park was clean. Had full hook ups. Everything worked! Water was good tasting. However Firewood that was for sale would not burn the best. Although it was Fairly quiet, county sheriff made frequent drive through to make sure things were good. Which was nice to see. Although the beach is next door in the city park, I don’t know if they are technically together, so I did not include this as part of my rating. Beach was pretty decent. Sandy, nice long walk out before you get to deep water. Great for kids! However the bird poop was way more intense than any other beach I’ve been to in recent years.

The camping sites are way too close together. The swimming beach is kinda far from the campground. Check in was easy. It was nice and quiet at nite. It was nice to see law enforcement driving thru checking on everything.
