Mountain Aire Resort — Reviews

Upon arriving it was not very clear as to where the office was, tiny little sign. All sites apparently have the same price whether you have power, water and/or sewer. Our site only had power and still paid the full price. Shower controls were backwards, quite a few of our group had ice cold showers. Never did see store open over the weekend. Don't believe the website warms you about no cell service and very poor wifi. The newly built hall has no running water or sewer. Campground is beautiful. Wildies roaming throughout the campground. I believe it is a work in progress and has great potential.

This campground is peaceful and situated in an incredibly beautiful place. We had a great pitch under some trees which felt cosy and secure. There’s wide open areas for families to enjoy and the riverside is just wonderful. You can get logs for a fire pit if you want. The lady that met us when we arrived was really helpful and friendly. I absolutely loved seeing the horses running free on the campground. It’s a bit of a trek to get there but absolutely worth it, and the scenery on the way up is beautiful.

Bathrooms were amazing, sites are huge and spacious, resort is quiet and kept clean! Will definitely be back!

Nice surroundings, but too far from campsite to washrooms. Impolite service. Access by +50 km gravelroad => complete cleaning of RV necessary.

Wonderful place to stop with your Motorhome but, in my opinion, if you will stay there more than just one or two night because it is outside of any possible travel destination and with 30KM of dirt road. We only stayed one night but sleeping with the sound of the river passing by you and an unparalleled quiet. It is a place to stop for a few days because it is surrounded by many experiences and excursions.

Beautiful place. But campsite was on a terrible lean towards the river. Took me half an hour to find someone to tell me where my campsite was because nothing was numbered. Paid for a 30 amp service site and nothing worked. Ended up borrowing some extra cords from the guy that runs the store. Water is not available unless you pay $10 for 5 gallons. Once the renovations and the park is complete I hope things are better but I won’t be back here.

View of my campsite was STUNNING!! Best site in the whole place - brand new. We hoped for water hookups but those weren’t quite ready yet. Power was there. Bathrooms and showers great condition although 2 minutes for $2 I found to be steep as to fully rinse it takes at least three rounds and getting out of the showers each time is a bit inconvenient. I would pay a bit more per night ($10) of showers were free and included. In the grand scheme it was a fantastic time with horses roaming and the river sounds among the visuals of trees and mountains. Beautiful.

We couldnt make it to the Camp. We reached near but the road was unpaved and in very bad conditions for the Rv. We had to come back and try to find another spot.

Booked the BYOB room. The staff was very friendly and helpful, amenities were extremely clean and well maintained. Checking in was a breeze. Will definitely be back!

Sheralyn is lovely and the whole atmosphere is beautiful, cozy, private. Love the atv trails around the area. Wild horses like to be around, they’re sweet but won’t let you touch them. So cute though! Definitely coming back
