Mountain Pines Campground — Reviews

Lots of activities, large pool and courteous staff. The only downside was the excessive number of golf carts.

Great campground

Had the potential for being a good stay however there were way too many golf carts that go way too fast and they take over the park. The pedestrians do not have the right of way apparently nor do vehicles. Made any outing away from site stressful.

Friendly Staff… Nice Campground. Unfortunately the Weather didn’t cooperate. Stuck inside for the entire first day:/ Still had a Fun Weekend Though:)

Campground is nice, but my spot was a total swamp.

The service is friendly & effcient. The sites seem level and about the usual spacing/size for a private property. The 4 star rating is about the kind of experience here. This very large property appears to be transitioning into becoming really a permanent resident kind of place rather than a camping place so the experience is just different than what campers are seeking. It seems as if it’s turning into a very nice permanent village for folks needing or wanting that kind of residence.

Cabin was great, very clean and had everything we needed!

The campground was clean and had great amenities. However, we have a big rig and it was a little difficult for us to back in and pull out. We scraped a tree leaving pretty badly because the corner we had to go around was right. We were also unable to fully extend our awnings because of a tree and the narrow width of our site. It is a good campground but our family is going to explore other options and most likely won’t be back.

We love Mountain Pines! The people are so friendly and there is plenty of fun activities for the kids. We will always come back.

Very fun weekend. First time there for Halloween festivities. Couldn’t say anything nicer about the way it all comes together for the kids.

We had a great time! We were there for an event not affiliated with the campground and spent most of our time there. The campground staff was very accommodating and welcoming, the bathrooms were clean and the other campers were all very nice. The trailer sites were all very small, but we all had fun.
