Mountain View Camping — Reviews

The campsite is not the newest and no great views but it was convenient to Calgary, clean, quiet and I would go back, they had spots that fit my 45ft motorhome easily. I didn't need to use the facilities like washrooms as I had my own.

Nice little campground. It was clean and quiet. They had a mini golf course and yummy ice cream! They should add a dog park though. :)

Had a great time the staff was great, the property was well kept and the onsite store was priced sooo cheap.. was shocked usually ppl up charge so much… for sure come again and a again.. very satisfied

Although the bathrooms are clean, they are very old and dated. And unfortunately they charge for everything extra. So to take a shower costs money. And they have many other charges. Nothing available for charging a vehicle. Although they did say in their information that it was available and metered for a charge. On the plus side. It is close to the city so that is one and the only reasons we stayed there. They certainly need to do some upgrades to the showers and whole bathroom system. Lots of rules and extra charges.

The washrooms are in very bad condition. The worst we found on our whole trip to 4 weeks Canada. And the staff is very unfriendly. They are holding three peacook in a very small cage. Which we feel is animal cruelty. Also plenty of strange people around.

Not a very clean place . Not much choice in this area . Got a mouse in the pass through. Will not be staying here again

This campground has really nice grass next to each campsite, their store has lots of convenient supplies and being so close to Hwy 1, you can drive into Calgary to visit friends and family very easily. Quiet and convenient. We really enjoyed our stay.

Over crowded, very noisy from off the highway

The washrooms and laundry room are in need of renovations.

All the ground around trailer was wet, could use more gravel. When we arrived a man who seemed to be in charge was sitting on the top of the picnic table at the office entrance with an open bottle of booze. Yes it was July 4 but the professionalism of running the camp grounds was lost.

Wi-fi was poor

Clean and lawn was mowed while we were out for the day thanks

Staff were very helpful in that they allowed us to stay 2 days longer when our trailer need repair.
