This is a nice spot for us to stop over one night on our way south. Not much around here and the campground is just gravel sites off the expressway. Bathrooms are ok if you need them. Showers were only on one end of the campground, far from where we were.

We just returned from another great weekend at Mystic Waters, this time staying in one of the VIP cabins while attending the Outlaw Music Festival to see Willie Nelson. We have stayed at Mystic Waters numerous times over the years, and there’s a reason we continue to come back. The campground has such a great atmosphere, especially on concert weekends. The VIP cabin was comfortable and gave us the perfect place to relax before and after the show. One of the things we really appreciate about Mystic Waters is that it feels like more than just a place to sleep when you’re attending a concert at Ruoff. You can actually make an entire weekend out of it—enjoy the water, hang out around the campground, listen to music, and then head to the show. The shuttle to and from the venue is also a huge plus and makes the whole concert experience much easier. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming, and the campground continues to be clean and well maintained every time we visit. After numerous stays, Mystic Waters has become part of the concert experience for us. If we’re heading to a show at Ruoff and making a weekend of it, this is where we want to stay. Another great weekend, and we’ll definitely be back!

Overall everything was great except there was no fenced dog park as seen online and also on the campsite map. That park was one of the primary reasons I chose Mystic Waters. Staff was very polite and have us a great recommendation for dinner.

Clean facilities, lodge has all the essentials of you forgot them at home. Quiet, well spaced campsites. The only thing I’d want added was a picnic table to our tent site. Very friendly staff.

Beautiful campgrounds, lakes, everything was great. The only drawback was the interstate noise. They should put up some of that sounds barrier wall that is put up sometimes for residential areas. (The state, not the campgrounds).

They went above and beyond to ensure our stay in the primitive tent sites was amazing. We had never stayed at Mystic Waters and booked online blindly not knowing where we were actually going to be. They moved our spot to the best spot they had available and made sure we were happy with the change. The whole place is clean, friendly, and exceptionally taken care of! 10/10 will recommend to friends and will stay again! Thanks for the great time!
