What a fabulous place!! Had our yearly camping trip here and what a wonderful time. We stayed in the pavilion, other family members stayed in the fishing cottage and still others stayed in their camper. We had sunset dinners, morning coffee under the pavilion and we grilled at the campsite. Wonderful memories with beautiful surroundings. Great communication and hospitality from natures trace people. Highly recommend. It exceeded our expectations!!

I love it here. It's secluded and away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You can be one with nature. Everyone was so friendly. The store was stocked with just about everything you need. Bathhouse and laundry room were very clean. They even had grills and an outdoor kitchen you could use. My dog loved the dog park too.

What a fantastic stay at Nature’s Trace Park! The cabins, RV sites, and tent areas are clean, private, and tucked into nature. The outdoor kitchen, community fire pit, laundry room, spotless restrooms, and dog park are all top notch. The on-site store keeps you from having to run into town for essentials. They’re adding propane refill service by November 2025, which will be a great bonus. Even better — they recently opened access to a waterfront picnic area, so you can unwind by the water right from the park. And for boaters, the Newton Creek (county) boat ramp is so close, making launching your boat a breeze.

We love it here! It's a pretty quiet camp off the beaten path and has all the things we need to relax with our pup. We enjoy spending time together away from work/projects.

Campspot says the sites have 20amp hookups but ours only had 50amp. One shower was available in the family restroom but the other three were outside stalls that didn’t lock. Apparently there’s no quiet time because the night of 10/20 into 10/21, people went by in a golf cart with music blaring. Maybe this is good for RVers, but definitely wouldn’t camp with a tent here.

Pros: If you are looking for a quiet, complete solitude getaway in nature, from the hectic everyday life, this is the place. A lot of positive renovations going on throughout the grounds. Brian greeted us as we arrived and was very friendly. Bathroom is clean. Cons: our original reservation campsite was switched by the campground a few days prior to arriving, to a site with no fire pit or picnic table. Internet is advertised but not hooked up at this time, no place to fish unless you have a vehicle to get there and no campground activities for guests.

It is a nice, quiet campground. We love the atmosphere! Brian is a great camp host and always extremely accommodating. It is a great weekend getaway for us, as it's only a couple hours from home. Our senior pup loves to tag along for the new smells and relaxing time! We are looking forward to our next stay!
