Such a great, peaceful and clean area to book at

Great place to stay, quiet, clean, and well maintained. This is my 5th time there and will be back next year.

The park is very small with few sites, not a problem. The park was easy to find day or night. Close to Waco for sightseeing, shopping and the fireworks on July 4th. There are lots of areas to walk the dog and a trail in the woods and space to play ball off leash. But the sites are unlevel... except for the 2 sites that are concrete. Of which I did not chose one of those sites, because I don't care for those, they are tripping hazards. My husband and I are seniors, we walk the dog at night and consider this when picking sites. The morning after we arrived the woman came around and said we actually should have been in site 10, which is a concrete pad. I picked site four online and that's where we were. She commented that someone else had that site and they pulled in and left, but not too much of a problem evidently or so she said. I apologized for the error and checked the email and it did say site 10, but 10 was a concrete pad... On the 4th of July, the owner came around with his 2 small children, cute as can be, handing out homemade cookies! They were my husband's favorite and delicious! What a nice surprise and thoughtful. The water pressure was great...but the water has a greasy feel to it. Almost like it has a softener for the water. It was concerning to me, we didn't drink it or cook with it, but used it for brushing teeth, washing the dishes and bathing.

The internet definitely catfished this place. We pulled in and went to pull in our assigned spot and it was occupied. It was apparent this spot was a full timer. Luckily there was a spot we were able to pull into for the night. There was no office to check into, just hosts that were not home. The spot worked for the night, but what if we drove all that way and it didn’t? NOT as well kept as the internet.

Good, quiet, level spot. Not near much so don’t expect to do much but it is quiet and had all the hookups we needed for the night.

No facilities what so ever!! Grass was very high around our campsite, sand-spurs were present so we were constantly picking them off our dog, garbage was all over the road around the dumpster, yet the dumpster was empty. When I called the owner to complain about the site he did tell me that he is aware no facilities were not advertised in their website. The shade was only available to permanent residents therefore we could not utilize our patio, even with the awning out until sundown. If I knew this campground was as poor as it was and NO FACILITIES I would have NEVER booked it. The price was very expensive for what we received. 2 nights at $44 and 2 nights at $55. It did have full hook up

Called the number asking for help to find spot 6, as the link did not work and the sign is laying on the ground in the front. Left phone message with my number never called me back. Cause the link did not work, did not have the WiFi password. Paid a lot for this weekend and would have appreciated some help and guidance to questions. Will not be back given the amount of money for this weekend and lack of response.

We chose this spot for the location. The reservation was easy to make and the property is CLEAN. I gave a 4-star rating because the spaces are not level by any means, and the traffic was loud as this is on a major roadway. I would recommend planting Pampas Grass along the outside of the fence line to mitigate the noise. Overall, a good stay, and we won't hesitate to return.

Great campground, very neat and well laid out, very responsive with any questions, rural but still close to Waco. It would be 5 stars if it were not for the highway traffic noise. Fine inside the trailer, just noisy sitting outside.

Great little campground. Quiet, clean and off the beaten track. Will definitely be back when we’re in the area. In fact, we extended our stay.
