Great site, great location.

The staff were very amazing, friendly and helpful and provided great resources and information. The site was beautiful with a pull through and behind the pull through was a stream or a brook that made for relaxing background music.

Quaint and very scenic. Hosts very cordial and accommodating. Very quiet, beautiful night sky and the ranch respects that with minimal lighting. Probably return some day.

We had a very nice stay. We were situated at parking spot seven which was very private given there was only 2 other campers . The place is situated perfectly if you wish to look at the rock art in the canyon.

Simply spectacular. The cabin was perfect and the setting exceeded expectations. The owners were friendly and accommodating and quick to offer suggestions on sights to see and places to visit. It was a relaxing two days and made for a perfect basecamp while exploring the canyon and surrounding area on my motorcycle. I’ll be back for sure.

Nine mile ranch is a great place to disconnect and relax. The owner was so nice and thoughtful. She even bought out food for my grandkids to feed her ducks. Make sure you purchase the book to help you navigate and learn about the canyons history and Indian art. I will definitely be back. So much to see and explore.

Love the ranch for proximity to the petroglyphs! It is cool to stay in a historic log cabin. Only issue we had was it was cold at night and the second night the cabin got a bit smokey. The first night it was fine. They may want to check the damper or pipes.

Great spot, great people

The cabins along with the campground are clean and quiet. The folks running the ranch are the nicest people. We really enjoy staying here.

It was a beautiful Canyon with great rock art and Picturesque cliffs. The 9 mile ranch was clean but a little worn around the edges.

The family that run the ranch, campground, bunk-n-breakfast and event facilities are very helpful, kind and knowledgeable. We stayed 3 nights in the Hawaii Room. It was delightful to come back into the large fully equipped basement, cook dinner with the dishes and cookware provided. At the kitchen table we would plan for our next day’s petroglyph and pictograph searches through the canyons. The searches were aided by a couple of guidebooks available at The Ranch. The Helmick guide, Discover Nine Canyon proved vital to our forays along the walls of the canyon. Binoculars, water, sunblock, the guidance of our hosts and this book made for a terrific 4 day 3-night adventure!!

Absolutely beautiful! Stayed in one of the cabins and highly recommend it. Loved searching for unmarked petrographs There are many! Recommend getting a book or researching on-line to get an idea of where to look. Binoculars really helped! I heard about Nine Mile Canyon on the news because they are thinking of widening and straightening to road and I guess increasing or allowing large tankers. Hopefully this will never happen but I would see the area sooner then later! Again, the Nine Mile Ranch was wonderful. Roasted marshmallows and wine and the open pit campfire really made the evenings!

Quiet, beautiful and peaceful. Staff is very friendly.

The hostess was very nice, and I appreciate the accommodations and location, but the room was so overcrowded with decorative tchotchkes, that I couldn’t even lay out my things. It is located in the basement and there was a noxious odor that burned my throat a little bit. The floorboards above the bedroom also squeak so every time somebody moved around, I was woken up. Next time I will stay in one of the cabins, as I would go back, but only the camp, not to stay in the house in one of the bunk and breakfast rooms. One very nice highlight however was the darling cat who kept me company as I stargazed. The location is much better as a campground than a bed-and-breakfast, And you will find the host to be very kind.
