Oak Hollow Campground — Reviews

Lovely spot. It would be nice to have a bathroom nearby though for tent campers. Pretty quiet but there is some noise from the interstate at night.

We stayed in A15 with our 38.10" rig. Check in was smooth and the person in the office was friendly and knowledgeable. The site was pretty level and it's just a short path down to the lake, where there are tent pads, so if you have extra people, they could reserve a spot in front of your rig, actually on the water, which we'll keep in mind when we bring the kiddos. FHU and all worked well. You do share water with the site next to you, but this is no big deal, just make sure to have your splitter. They have a cute store that has variety of camping gear, as well as ice cream and other "essentials"! There's a pool right behind the bath house which was closed for the winter, but will be a plus in the summer. It's so peaceful and beautiful! Even though you're just off the freeway, you'd never know it. We rode our bikes around and there's all different camps for each camping type. I need to mention that for me, A15 wasn't the greatest site, only because I'm physically disabled and once you step off the pad, there's tree roots and the campsite just isn't level. My bad as I should've called 1st, but I was able to navigate it during the day, and just didn't walk around at night. I'd like to give a HUGE shout out to Randleman Towing. We had low pressure in 4 tires and our compressor blew after the first tire. Randleman Towing came out on our call to AAA. As their battery charged compressor also struggled to fill our (110 PSI) tires, Mitchell actually went and BOUGHT a compressor and came back to complete service with us and get us safely back on the road!! It was a God send! Also must note that this happened the morning we are due out, and Oak Hollow kindly allowed us to stay past check out while we were getting this taken care of. Great overall stay and will stay again!

Went with our camping family ( 9 families ) for the weekend. We had a great time.

I was on site C2 and it was extremely steep. I could not get my trailer level due to the grade. And the trees did not allow me to put my awning out.

Great campground and staff

Wonderful winter evening alongside the lake. Clean, nice setting, secure entry, and warm bathrooms! Look forward to our next visit.

I've been coming here for years. The campground has been making improvements over that time. Nicer playgrounds, resurfacing roads, improved wifi. Friendly campers whenever I'm there. It's a great little place in a nice setting.

Please make sure your credit card payment services are fully secure and compliant. My card was compromised shortly after using your site. Maybe coincidence, just please be aware.

Very tight campsites. I have a 30ft and hated parking it right in front of my neighbors...Right on top of each other. Not my thing. I want some space.

Beautiful location on Oak Hollow Lake. Friendly staff at check-in. Clean facilities. Will return again!
