Ocean Grove RV Resort — Reviews

We got there as part of a group of 16 people. Some of us were staying at private RV's, some at the "tiny homes" and some of us at the Park Models; we stayed at one of these. The check-in process was very smooth and the attendant explained everything that we needed to know about the resort. We arrived at our villa (D119) and immediately inspected it to make sure that we didn't need anything. Everything was very clean and in order. The front screened door was scratching the wood and it was difficult to open. We did notice that the handles on the refrigerator were broken and missing and the inside of the refrigerator was very dirty below one of the storage bins. Also the pots and pans were not in their best condition as we would recommend for them to be replaced. Some of the cereal bowls were cracked as well as some of the coffee mugs; in general, everything is mismatched and in need of replacement. The shower head also could be replaced as the water flows only through few of the holes. My wife really needed the wi-fi service but the only 3 options available, were of poor reception and very unreliable. We ended up using our own phones as "Wi-Fi Hot Spots" for the laptop in use. Since we were a big group, most of the time we spent our gatherings at someone else's place or we would go and visit the places around the area. Something very important the I will be careful with, is the fact that every house, model or RV site has a picnic table and the wood is in so much poor condition that 4 people including myself, got a splinter injury due to the wood not been polished or in conditions to allow people to lay hands, arms or any part of your body to rub it. I will strongly recommend these to be replaced or repaired before there could be a major accident. The common bathrooms were cleaned, all the appliances worked good without any problem. Upon departure and just like when we arrived, the process was smooth and easy. We had a perfect weather during our stay and perhaps we will be back some day to enjoy a time away from reality.

Great location and camp spots

Really did enjoy our stay! Place was great! Only issue were the amount of ants!!! My littles and I got so bitten up by ants we had to go buy after bite cream and could sit outside at night. Recommend spraying for ants! They are bad, but everything else was enjoyable!

Clean campground, reasonably priced. Very close to lots to do. Dog approved!

We loved OG. The staff was great as they worked to recover from Milton. The location is amazing and we loved watching the sunset every night on the marsh. We’ll be back!!

It’s a very nice RV park , exceptionally clean, nice pool & area. Close to St. Augustine. Close to beaches. I look forward to going back.

With paved campsites everywhere, I was given one in the grass, that was very hard to park my travel-trailer

This was a very nice park! Unfortunately, it rained all day, so we didn't get to enjoy the pool! However, the pool looked beautiful and felt great when I walked in a little bit! We did get a break in rain to take a short walk to the ocean! Very nice and helpful staff!!

Very quiet and nice place to stay

Stayed here the second time and it was great. Enjoy the pool area as well.

Quiet and clean

I will be going back to this RV Resort. It’s well maintained and just enough trees for some shade. There’s live music at the front by the pool on some evenings. It’s a short bike ride to the beach.
