The campground is very quiet, well maintained and all of the people staying there were very friendly!

I made my reservations very far in advance (October) and when we got there they had changed my site from J107 to a very crowded area of B111. The park wasn't crowded but they had jammed everyone into that area. I switched to J111 and had to pay additional monies. You advertise those sites with water in front of them on the map, when in fact it is all marsh area. I felt that was deceiving. You also advertise that you have a restaurant, but don't advertise that it closes at 3:00 on Sunday and doesn't open on Monday. We were there Sunday and Monday. That was another deceit. No one even went on J107 and I know there is an additional fee to reserve your site, but this I feel is an unfair charge too. We won't be coming back there for these reasons listed. There are many other campsites in the area, that let people know what is going on upfront. It takes a lot of time to find the right place and I thought we had. Unfortunately it was not.

Nice campground in a great location. Our site had a level paver surface and was a pull through. The campground was amazingly quiet.

The resort is very clean and cute. The showers and restrooms were really nice. I would definitely stay here again! My only complaint is the WiFi. The WiFi is terrible, so if you stay, bring a hotspot!

Campground is close to downtown. FHU, quiet and clean. Price was reasonable compared to other campgrounds in the area. We were in site C100 which is toward the back of the park so we didn’t get the noise from the restaurant as some of the reviews stated. We would stay here again.

Always delivers a great time

Older resort with a lot of permanent residents. Tight roads for larger rigs, but I got my 40’ in. On site restaurant was good. Our marsh-front site J120 was adequate. Nice boat ramp and pier. Ocean was about 1/2 mile walk. A couple of good restaurants within walking distance.

Stayed here on a whim after leaving another site unexpectedly. We had upcoming reservations at Anastasia State Park which is conveniently located about 3.5 miles north of Ocean Grove. Nice large paver pad in our pull through site. Very friendly community. Very walkable both inside the park and to local businesses and Butler Beach. Sadly we did not have time to enjoy the pool but I did stick my toes in and it was lovely. We grabbed a couple of drafts and burgers one evening at Funkadelic the on site restaurant. The staff was great and we enjoyed our meal. We would have loved to have stayed longer. We will definitely be back.

The park itself is clean, well-kept, and priced appropriately for what it offers. Unfortunately, several operational issues took away from the overall experience. First, WiFi is advertised, but there is effectively no WiFi. We were in site F121 and could not connect at all—not even limited access. We were given a WiFi password, but no network name, and ultimately it didn’t matter because there was no usable signal. If WiFi isn’t actually available throughout the park, that should be clearly stated. Second, the park offers online check-in with full payment and site assignment, which is great in theory. However, nowhere during the online process does it state that you must stop at the office first. We only learned this after parking, when an RV attendant kindly explained what we had “done wrong.” When we showed that there was no indication online to stop at the office, the response was essentially a shrug. This is an easy fix—clear instructions would prevent confusion and frustration. We were given paperwork with rules and the WiFi password, but again, no network name—and again, no actual WiFi. Finally, Good Sam discount handling was disappointing. The paperwork confirms the park is a Good Sam partner, and staff verified the 10% discount applies. However, there was no option to enter a Good Sam number or apply a discount during online booking. When we asked at the office, we were told the discount could not be applied or refunded because we had already paid in full online. That penalizes guests for using the park’s own online system. Bottom line: The park has good bones and friendly staff, but the communication, online check-in process, WiFi advertising, and discount handling all need serious improvement. These are not hard fixes, but until they’re addressed, they significantly impact the guest experience.

WiFi is terrible!!! Swear drain was angled and does not allow connection. 2 piles of dog poop we’re waiting for us upon arrival. The maintenance man was quick to arrive once we reported the issue and cleaned up the dog poop as well as gave us a block to hold the sewer hose in place. Overall it is just overpriced for what it is, sites are on top of each other. I just feel there are way better options for less money.

Site was okay, but not clean. We had to pick up trash on it. The receptionist on checking in was brusque but not rude. Overall the place was decent, paved roads, looked like a good laundry, okay bathhouse ( functional but needing some maintenance), and location was good. I wouldn't go out of my way to stay there, but would stay again if need be.

Check in and check out was a breeze, our site was exactly as described and clean. Communications from the office are informative and give guests all the info you need. The public showers/restroom were clean. This was our second visit to this RV resort and we look forward to staying here in the future.

Charming RV park with all kinds of camping options and amenities! The office staff is first rate. All of which is reflected by the genuine friendliness (and holiday spirit) that fellow campers share. And, it's a bonus to be so close to St. Augustine and its attractions. It was our first time staying, and we'll definitely look forward to returning!
