Ogeechee Crossing Park — Reviews

This facility is tucked away quietly and absolutely beautiful. Spacious, pull through sites. We were only there for the night, but wish we had more time to explore the area. Highly recommend!

Very spacious and quiet.

The park is clean, new, and unattended. We only stayed one night as we were just traveling through. Every site is a pull through, and most sites have sewer. There is a frisbee golf course if you’re interested, and several hiking trails. It’s very remote, and very quiet. In fact, there was only one other trailer in the park. Hint, when you’re driving in and you come to the circle, if you have an odd number campsite you turn to the right because that is the orientation of the pull throughs. If you haven’t even number site, turn to the left because the inside of the loop has their pull through oriented in that direction.

Without a doubt this is one of the most outstanding parks that I've had the pleasure of visiting. The staff are friendly and the facilities are top notch. They also offer a history trail and excellent recreational facilities.

The Campground deserves someone to take the time to run a mower , a weedeater and to spray vegetation killer on the gravel sites. Overall its a nice campground. The other overlooked detail, when your reserving the sites, your system states the sites are pull thru " full hook up " sites. Yes they are convenient pull thrust, but NOT full hook ups. They are only water and electric sites. There is a dump station on the way out. Still good overnight stay for us. Your attention to these areas of need would make it an even better stay for future campers.

We stayed at one of the tent sites and were very pleased. The sites were clean and the bathrooms were well maintained with fantastic water pressure. We play disc golf and were really happy with how the campsites and the disc golf course overlapped with each other. We will definitely come back to stay again.

We were coming home from Georgia, and stop for the night, as we are in the prime of our life's and we don't have to drive more then 6 hours a day. It was beautiful, water, electricity, bathroom and shower. The camp manager stopped to say hi, and a few souvenirs. Drive in, drive out spot, no self leveling, even had a little porch light, oh and dog friendly.

The campground was as listed had no problems.

Nice big and level lots. Pretty trails through the woods and by the water.

We really enjoyed the park, very well-maintained sites under beautiful pine trees. We spent Thanksgiving week there, so it was very quiet, and we spent time walking the trails and the area. We explored a revolutionary cemetery. Robert was very helpful and accommodating. We were stay there again.

Wonderful sites, we loved the park even though we stayed only one night. Highly recommended!!!!

Great value. Very peaceful and easy to navigate.

Nice and quiet place, not far from the nearby town. We didn’t use it, but there was firewood ready at every spot.
