    Deluxe Cabin: Sleeps Up to 6 Guests Wake up to mountain views and the sound of the North Fork of the Shoshone River just outside your door. Then fall asleep under one of the darkest night skies in America. This cozy rustic cabin sleeps up to 6 guests and is the perfect home base for your Yellowstone adventure. The main floor has a queen bedroom, a fully equipped kitchenette, a queen sofa sleeper, and a private bathroom with walk-in shower. Upstairs a loft with 2 full size beds is perfect for the kids. Fresh bed and bath linens are included for your whole party. The kitchenette includes a refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and dishes and silverware for 6. Step outside to your private picnic table and take in the Absaroka Mountain views. After dark the real show begins. Old Faithful RV Park sits in a Bortle Class 1 sky meaning the Milky Way blazes overhead on clear nights in a way most people have never seen. Please use red light flashlights after dark and keep exterior lighting minimal to preserve this experience for everyone. Yellowstone National Park is just 32 miles up the road.     I found the website to be very confusing. No where does it mention that this campground is 20 miles from Cody, where we were focusing our activities. If you’re going to YNP it’s probably very convenient. We weren’t, so it was a lot of driving for us to go back and forth to Cody. Also, their website says they’ll have permanent showers and laundry in 2026. They don’t have it yet (end of July), and we weren’t counting on it. I should’ve done a better search when I chose a campground. I chose this one because they had vacancies on a busy weekend. The cabins looked nice, though, and the campground was very new and clean. No trees, however. The front office was very friendly.
