Osage Campground Retreat — Reviews

It was an okay place.. we expected more. Site was flat… tight walking around motor home. WiFi did not work at all. Cell service sketchy. Laundry was okay … but needs quarters… had enough to wash! No staff around the 2 days we were there. Ice only available if you have Venmo. Most campers were seasonal

Great location! The kids loved the playground and the facilities were clean. The handle for the water was difficult to operate and the one shower/toilet was slightly inconvenient, but would definitely come back due to its location. We watched the fireworks in Jefferson City and were back at the campsite within 15-20 minutes.

Great bathroom, shower, and laundry facilities. You are fairly close to the roadway and hear traffic all night long

The checkin is done on line so no paperwork to pickup. You just fine your spot and start setting up. Setup was very convenient and easy to attach everything to it even in the pouring rain. Easy disconnecting and easy pull out.

It was a nice quiet weekend kids loved the game room bathroom/laundry room are great the only two things bad I could say is they needed to mow and spray for bugs but in there defense it had rain most of the week before our stay and internet was out but they are working on that and the game room saved us fun kids being bored so all in all great time. Oh and they are very accommodating we decided to stay one extra day and they worked with us so we didn’t have to move spots.

The campground was safe and quiet. The camp manager was amazing and kind. The price was reasonable. However, the showers/bathrooms had no AC and it was stifling and muggy.

It was very easy to book and check in online. Directions were clear and the area was clearly marked. Grounds were well maintained and it was a very pleasant peaceful area. Thank you! If we are in the area again I would stay here again.

Clean restroom, short walk to Osage river, quiet campground. Another camper said they couldn’t get ahold of ownership. I never saw anyone in charge, but online checkin worked well. WIFI was advertised but not available.

Good location, quick registration, clean facility, & easy in and out. Plan to stop there on our way home on Sunday

Not really the fault of the campground, but the outside area surrounding our camp spot was swampy and standing water. To be fair, the area had quite a bit of rain. Other than that aspect the campground was clean and easily accessible.

It was great and they sold firewood, ice, and propane on site at a reasonable price. Restroom was the cleanest I’ve ever seen any campsite restroom. It had a very homey and welcoming atmosphere.
