This exclusive 60-minute visit is reserved just for your group—no other campers, no rushing—allowing you to move at your own pace and truly connect with the animals. You’ll enjoy extended, relaxed time with your favorites, step inside select enclosures for one-on-one snuggles where appropriate, and learn about each animal’s personality, daily routines, and care while asking all the questions you’d like. This experience is especially popular with guests hoping to meet Fred, our beloved Highland bull; for safety and animal comfort, large groups aren’t brought into the adult cow field during daily chores, but private tours allow for a calm, controlled visit with him. It’s an ideal experience for families, animal lovers, photographers, or anyone looking for a deeper, more intimate farm moment at Outside Inn.

  • Daily Farm Chores with Our Friendly Animals

    January 1 - December 31

    Exclusive for camping guests! One of the simplest (and most loved) parts of staying at Outside Inn is joining us for daily farm chores. Held twice each day, this experience is just for our overnight camping guests and is an easy, come-and-go activity. Morning chores – 9:30am! Start the day alongside the animals as we make our morning rounds. Guests can help feed the goats, chickens, and donkeys, refresh water, tidy the barn, and experience what real farm life looks like. If you’d rather just watch, that’s perfectly fine too. There’s always time to get up close, step inside the enclosure, and enjoy a few snuggles if you’d like. Evening chores – 6:30pm! As the day winds down, head back to the barn for evening feedings. We’ll serve dinner, check water, and top off hay for the night. It’s a calm, relaxed way to end the day and a great chance to slow down and connect with the animals—hands-on or simply observing. Or honestly, it can be full of chaos and zest if the goats so desire! How to join: No sign-ups needed. Just head to the barn at feeding time. Guests are welcome to participate as much or as little as they want. Boots are recommended, curiosity encouraged. These daily routines are all about getting close to the animals, experiencing the rhythm of farm life, and creating those quiet, memorable moments that tend to stick with you long after checkout.

  • Lamb Cuddle & Bottle Feeding Experience

    March 13 - May 30

    Lamb Cuddle & Bottle Feeding Experience Everyday at 4:00 PM | Saturday & Sunday at 12:00 PM & 4:00 PM Meet one of the sweetest little residents at Outside Inn Campground during our Lamb Cuddle & Bottle Feeding Experience. This special farm activity gives guests the chance to spend time with our adorable baby lamb while helping with one of his daily bottle feedings. Because he’s still very young and getting lots of extra care, these sessions are kept small and relaxed, allowing families and animal lovers to enjoy a calm, hands-on moment on the farm. Guests will have the opportunity to cuddle with the lamb, assist with bottle feeding, and learn a little about how we care for young farm animals. It’s a heartwarming experience that’s perfect for kids, families, and anyone who loves animals. Sessions are limited and advance ticket purchase is required to help us keep the experience comfortable for both guests and animals.     Celebrate dads and the outdoors at Outside Inn during Father’s Day Weekend, June 19–21. Campers are invited to enjoy a relaxed, easygoing weekend filled with fresh air, good company, and simple farm fun. Throughout the weekend, you can start the day with doughnuts and coffee, play cornhole and yard games, and simply take time to appreciate dad in a peaceful, outdoor setting. On Saturday, join our first Six Pack Swap—bring a six pack or two of your favorite beer or beverage to trade with fellow campers. By the afternoon, you’ll have a custom collection of new drinks to try while connecting with new friends. Whether you’re here to celebrate fatherhood, enjoy casual games, or just relax on the farm, this weekend promises fun, connection, and the joy of the outdoors.

    Celebrate the Fourth of July the Outside Inn way with good food, fresh air, and a relaxed farm atmosphere on Saturday, July 4. Campers are invited to enjoy a laid-back, fun-filled day outdoors with family and friends. Throughout the day, you can dig into hamburgers, hot dogs, and cold watermelon, stroll along our red-white-and-blue trail, and snap photos at festive themed spots around the farm. Kids can wind down the evening with sparklers and glow sticks, keeping the celebration fun, low-key, and animal-friendly. Whether you’re here to enjoy the food, the trails, or simply soak in the farm’s patriotic spirit, this day promises good company, summer fun, and the joy of celebrating Independence Day on the farm.
