Check in easy! Perfect location off I-95. Lake Marion view is very pretty. Cabin was nice and clean. A little strict at the pool area but I can understand the rules in place when crowded.

Palmetto Shores is the best campground by far that my family has gone to. The campgrounds are clean and just enough space for my family and four dogs. The dog park is perfect for getting energy out. The pools are perfect for getting the kids energy out and lounging as an adult to get some sun! The playground and game area was also perfect for everyone to get out and just spend quality time together. 10/10 campground worth every penny!

Too crowded. Our site was backed up to a cottage. Everytime their air conditioner went on it was so noisy which was constant. The WiFi is unusable. They said there was a restaurant but it’s not just for the campground. You reservations which no one tells you . The waiting area is hotter than outside. Kids driving golf carts don’t look old enough with eight to nine kids hanging off of them.

Very clean campground and super friendly staff. We only live about an hour away so it was a nice quick little get away for our family

We enjoyed our time at Palmetto Shores. Overall, it was a good experience. The sites were generously sized and well shaded. The location was convenient to visit many destinations. I wouldn’t, however, call it a resort, and it felt rather overpriced for what was offered. The pool area was nice, but it was full of bugs and needed to be skimmed. At one point, we asked if we could do the skimming because it was that bad (so many dead mayflies and even hair floating). One of the pools was pretty cloudy. Overall, it just wasn’t well maintained. One early evening we were there, a truck came through spraying what we assume were pesticides. This felt inappropriate in terms of timing as the campground was full and it was a peak time for families to be outside. None of the common spaces like the laundry or bathrooms were very clean like you’d expect a resort campground to be. Again, it wasn’t terrible, but if you’re expecting a resort campground, this ain’t it.

Wasn't bad, just don't really enforce the rules. I'm not really a fan of gravel and sand sites. Still a good stay and friendly staff.

For the price, $100 per night, it appears that not a lot of money is being put back into the campground. The place looks "tired" for the price! The bathhouse/restrooms were in poor condition, along with the open air laundry area. There are no concrete pads or patios and they are mostly sandy. Keep in mind that you can almost throw a stone to I-95 so expect to hear interstate traffic noise 24 hrs a day. My next campground that we went to that day was the same per night price and was night and day better. Yes, you have the lake, with a great view of I-95! The pool area is nice with the lazy river. In my opinion this campground is only good for an overnight stop while traveling to a destination due to the very close proximity to I-95.

Great RV park! Love the amenities of the pool, private beach and boat ramp. Feels very safe for the family, and the neighbors were very respectful and friendly. We stayed in a cabin and it was very clean. 4 star review because the check in girl did not give us a key so we spent 15 minutes searching the entire perimeter of property, we called their main number and received no answer so we had to go back up to the front desk and she seems confused who I was and what cabin I was in. Also the key was extremely hard to unlock and lock the door, nobody could do it but my husband! I can only recommend a keyless lock pad
