Papoose Pond Family Campground & Cabins — Reviews

We had a great stay at Papoose! The Camperlodge was a perfect option for us because it’s dog friendly. We’ll definitely be coming back 😀.

Always friendly staff, fun activities, great sites

We had a great time with plenty to do. Our only complaint was the amount of teenage “packs” that sometimes were loud and would overtake things like the playground or fun events like karaoke. Perhaps some teen only programming to give them something to do? Also it would be nice for quiet hours to be enforced a little more heavily. Our last night there was a group who was loud and drunk, way past midnight. Big pluses were the power pass, ease of access to everything, variety of activities, and the kitchen and bath unit. We had a great time as a family.

Only downside was the weather

2022 was our third year at Papoose for Mother-Daughter camping week and we are looking forward to returning for the fourth year. Absolutely stunning campground with so much for families to do and yet peaceful for our week. Lots of walking, relaxing by the firepit, watching children play, choice of waterfront swimming or the pool, the store is packed with whatever one would need and the staff are excellent. Our first two nights we were pretty much alone in our area and the staff drove by every hour. If you haven't tried Papoose Pond please do - you will not be disappointed.
