We had a cozy tenting spot by the river. Site was well maintained, including the washrooms and amenities. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this campsite!

All the amenities. Clean, spacious laundry room, nice bathrooms, we didn’t use the pool but it looked lovely and the kids enjoyed the play structures and chess board!

It's a nice family campground with lots of activities to keep the kids happy. We're older but enjoyed watching them play with pedal cars and going on hay rides followed by a battalion of kids on bikes. Great family place. They enforce the quiet time after 10:00 PM -- we appreciated that. Clean restrooms and showers (five minutes per loonie). Nice little store to snag an ice cream cone. The river flows by the campsite and -- when we were there -- the water was low and quite safe for swimming. Or there is a pool for the smaller kids. It's about a five minute drive into Parksville and the monstrous beaches at low tide. Two negative notes -- it was really cramped -- we were packed in like sardines. Many of the sites -- including ours -- were not too level. But overall, we enjoyed our stay and recommend it to families looking for a great place that the kids will like, too.

We are nature loving campers, had to book due to wildfires, but this wasn’t our thing. If you love crowded, family oriented campsites with ample space, then this is for you. The sites are very close together with minimal private space. Weed smell within 5 minutes of arrival. We left. Not worthy of the high rates in my opinion.

This campground is amazing, I was so impressed when I checked in to be escorted to my site by 2 young men on a golf cart who assisted also with backing in. The place was pristine, nice large sites and everyone was so friendly. Great place for kids, lots for them to do and have fun. Watching the swimmers in the river and the people cliff jumping, looked like a blast!
