Paul Bunyan Family Campground — Reviews

The place was clean ! Bathrooms were awesome! The owners were fantastic! I definitely recommend them and will be going back!!!

Owners were very friendly, nice bathrooms and a beautiful pool. Would stay there again.

Campground owners had fun Christmas in July activities planned for the weekend. They are a great couple and so happy they are fixing up the campground!

We always enjoy coming out to Paul Bunyan, especially with Nat and Ave owning/running the place! They are always quick to help with anything we could possibly need - including opening the pavilion at night to keep us dry in the rain or even having the candy bar we are craving, haha. The campgrounds are maintained really well and the improvements they have been always making show just how much they are putting into making this place the go-to spot for camping. We'll be back!

Very friendly owners and the pool was perfect if you have children. Very clean as well

I truly enjoyed my stay at Paul Bunyan campground. The site was huge and was full hookup and pull thru. For a new solo woman camper it was perfect! The new owners have made a great start at fixing up this campground. I look forward to next year's improvements. I picked the perfect time to go up north Michigan, the fall colors were beautiful.

The campground was lovely and the owners are even lovelier. I felt so safe and accommodated while there! They let us charge our power bank in the office because we had no power at our site (personal choice). Super dog friendly, beautiful pool and great sites to stay at!

We really like the campground and glad we found it last year. We are so glad it is being fixed up and cannot wait to the see the continual updates. The cabin was very cozy and has been fixed up nice. My family loves the pool and happy we are only a few miles from Hubbard Lake. We look forward to our future stays!

The campground needs lots of attention; however, I know the new not new owners are trying. The sites definitely need attention, and to be leveled and the entire place just needs to be cleaned up. There looks to be an abandoned trailer that needs to be removed. The pool is fantastic and the office and annex are both shaping up! Good luck to the new owners!

Very accommodating

The pool was awesome and incredibly clean! The owners are super friendly and they were always available. Sites are clean and well maintained. We look forward to staying again in the future!

Owners are amazing! Campground is coming together great! Very relaxed atmosphere! Will be visiting again!

Glad the campground is being fixed up!
