Well cared for Regional park on the edge of the valley, easily accessible, clean facilities and spacious campsites. Great for access to local hiking trails while being on the outskirts of town away from city life. Close access to groceries if needed and a couple of lakes and the Salt River.

It was a lovely campsite in a clean and well maintained campground with easy access to the Superstition Mountain trails and a good number of trails within the campground itself. The number and frequency of the very noisy and low flying motorized parachute vehicles was quite annoying! We enjoyed the cycling and Hiking and the Interpretive trail. It got a little noisy Friday night, but the party revelers calmed down pretty early. Great star gazing.

Always enjoy camping at Peralta. We would try to do every weekend or every other weekend at Peralta but missed some time last year because of some serious medical issues with my wife and I, so to make it back to Peralta campsite for her Birthday weekend I couldn't ask for anything better. So we will see you on March 7th our 29 year wedding anniversary camp date. Peace & Blessings

It was quiet with few other campers, tho more expensive than should be. Over $70 for 4 nights is a lot for dry camping. Maybe don’t charge the day-use fee for campers. Otherwise, nicely laid out campground and local trails.

Beautiful park with nice picnic area & rustic campsites all with great views. Very clean restrooms. Camphost Carole was very friendly, helpful and had great knowledge of the various hiking & bikingtrails. What a hidden gem! We will be back.

Great facility. New, well-maintained. Very helpful Camphosts. Not very busy, even on a Friday night. We hiked the Desperado Trail, about 5ish miles, beautiful country. Lots of Saguaros. When we stay again, we will choose site C11. Level and much closer to the bathroom. The loop (including C28) we were in, was a bit of a trek to the bathrooms. We'll definitely go again.
