About

Philmont Scout Ranch is the Boy Scouts of America’s largest National High Adventure Base, welcoming boy scouts and their families to go on adventures connected to nature. It covers 140,177 acres of rugged mountain wilderness in the Sangre de Cristo range of the Rocky Mountains in northeastern New Mexico. Most activities take place during the summer, but Philmont also offers programs during the offseason such as Autumn and Winter Adventure. Throughout its existence, conscientious attention to low-impact camping techniques and diligent wildlife and forestry conservation work has helped maintain Philmont’s wilderness.

Luxury Deluxe Tents are designed to make the outdoors comfortable for the whole family. Each tent contains high-quality linens, bedding, and furniture, including one queen bed and two sets of bunk beds for sleeping 5 to 6 people. A front porch with Adirondack chairs provides a place to relax and enjoy the incredible scenery, and there is a shared gas outdoor firepit for evening family gatherings.
