Piney River Resort — Reviews

We really enjoyed our stay. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. The camp spots were spaced apart so you didn’t feel like the camper next to you was right on top of you. The river area was nice and peaceful. The 4th of July celebration was really cool as well. The wifi worked pretty well too. We will certainly visit this rv park again.

Lovely campground. Well kept. Very clean. Waterfront spots look amazing. Wish the premium spots weren’t so close together. But they are still great spots.

My family and two others met up for a weekend in 3 of the tiny houses. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone who asks for one! The hosts are kind and helpful, the check in and out process was a breeze and such good experiences. When we arrived, we were handed our keys, a map, the wifi information and other specifics about the property. Then we were personally escorted to and provided a tour of our home for the weekend. The tiny home (we stayed in #55 Music City) was perfectly decorated with homey touches, like the fresh picked wildflowers and personalized gift of some amazing natural soap. We were immediately surprised and impressed with the quality of cookware/appliances/kitchen essentials and enjoyed in cooking for our large group in this space. This was an amazing little house and an even more amazing experience since it was all so well planned out and stocked by these hosts that so obviously love what they’re building. And we’re excited to return and see that happen!! 10 stars! Will be back!!

Couldn’t ask for a more peaceful spot on a beautiful river. A hidden gem with a great staff.

The owner is super nice. The campground is clean, and the setting is very beautiful. We will stay here again!

This place is *very* rural and is not easy to access. The roads in both directions are very narrow, bumpy dirt roads that are impossible if two RVs are trying to pass each other at the same time. The facility itself is fine. We had a riverfront space which we enjoyed, though our neighbors were quite noisy and were hooping and hollering from dawn til dusk. The bathrooms are modern and super clean.

It was very difficult to get to. Very few of the amenities that they advertise about, we’re not finished. The owners were very nice though.
