Plattsburgh RV Park — Reviews

Easy in And out but our site #47 seemed to be a road

Lovely well-kept campground with pool, pickleball and laundry. Enjoyed a week close to Lake Champlain and nearby activities, restaurants and shopping centers. Would stay again.

Our stay was wonderful Process of checking in was easy Our spot #53 was close to the pool yet far enough away from the dumpsters to still be enjoyable with our two dogs. The pool was wonderful and the July 4 golf cart parade was so fun. They had a really good band (5 o’clock somewhere) and served a complimentary hot dog hamburger lunch complete with homemade sides. We attended a silent auction that was so well run I will implementing the process at back home events. The only thing missing is a dog park 😉 even though one is right down the road and maybe improve the mini golf 😊 We recommend this campground!!

Nice and quiet family people around

It’s the first time I see bathrooms clean like that, tolet stand clean 👏,it’s quiet and the site perfect

Great all around camp ground. Very clean, friendly and great location

Facility is extremely clean and staff respond to all requests in a timely manner

The bath rooms and showers were the cleanest I have ever seen. The lady that takes care of these is unbelievable. Thank you.

Nice and quiet campground, we arrived late in the evening after 8pm and we couldn't find our site. Since we didn't need any service we just parked on the grass and left the camp in the morning.

Big park. Had to search a little before finding my spot. On grass not leveled and they only had electricity. It was good for the one night.

No water, sewer, or dump station available. I sent a number of emails to the info@plattsburghrvpark.com address and received no replies. You would think someone would offer us a partial refund.

Nobody was there when we arrived , around 5 pm and we coudn't find any map or instruction at the door of the office. Nobody was there neither on wednesday morning and we drive arouund the campground to find the dumpster.

Restroom was lock, no shower and no services

Good place

It was relatively quiet and clean and the grass was nice and not just dirt.

Large RV park with many seasonal guests, but they have easy access pull through sites for short term guests. Online check in, go direct to your site, but hosts communication about site selection was helpful. Pool was large and uncrowded. Plattsburgh has anything you need, and is only a few minutes away. Close to Grand Isle ferry, and Lake Placid is about an hour drive.

Clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Would consider staying again.

Pros: nice huge pool, nice and clean shower stalls, simple check-in and check-out (never seen any staff member...); reasonable rates. Cons: arrival PM office closed so no map available makes not easy to find the site number, too small and far to see well; overflow area roughly leveled, no picnic table on site; some partiers after 10...
