The "best available" site picked by the host didn't have a level spot to pitch my backpacking tent, much less my six person tent or bug room. When I arrived after dark, there was a post it note on my receipt telling me the bath house was out of order and they had tried to call, but left no message. I ended up sleeping in the driver's seat of my packed car. The next morning, I was able to get a different site that was flat which had been unoccupied the night before for my second night, but no offer of compensation for the inconvenience and discomfort of the previous night.
