What an amazing spot! We had the beach front site 41. Lisa is an amazing host. Right on the Cabot Trail. Would recommend for sure! She did mention electricity was being sent out to the ocean sites this fall so it will be sewer, water and hydro, so we will have to make a return for next summer! Bring a generator, that’s what we did and helped some. Thanks for the beautiful spot and hospitality!

Lisa was so perky and welcomed us with open arms. It was a nice spot nice beach. The only thing we were not fussy with was all the big rocks on site and road really hard on the feet and truck. Thank you Lisa and Vic for a wonderful stay. Mary Young

The owners were helpful, friendly and accomodating. We had booked a site on the beach but a wind storm was predicted for the evening so they offered us a more sheltered site with power and water. The bathrooms were clean.

Just getting to park your RV pretty much on the beach is amazing! The beach is nice, the sunset is beautiful, in a pretty sweet little town. It’s on the Cabot Trail! Super dog friendly , everyone is nice and respectful!

Very pretty campground. The beach is gorgeous. Camp office staff are terrific. Only comment is if you have a larger rig over 28 ft backing into the tricky and the sites are not level, you'll need extra blocks for leveling as well as sewer hose. There is one shower for public use which is very nice and has a toilet. There are two separate toilets also across from the shower but they do not have soap or paper towels. Laundry facility is very nice and takes 4-5 loonies (Canadian coin dollars) for a large load to wash and dry fully. If you don't put enough coins in the washer then it will stop running and your lid may be locked. So make sure for washer you have at least two coins in and pick a economy load with high water level for a large load. You can get loonies at the office. The dumpster for trash is about halfway down the beach road. Very few bugs in mid July until evening when the mosquitoes come out. We enjoyed our stay. Would come back again.

We loved our stay at Point Cross Beach RV Park in Cape Breton! The views are incredible no matter where you’re parked, and the beach access is just a short walk away. The grounds are so well maintained - you can really see the love Lisa and Vic put into the place. They’re the kindest hosts and made us feel so welcome. We even fished their creek and caught a bunch of brook trout! Can’t wait to come back.

It is an unfinished project. No toilets, no showers. Stay at Cheticamp Park if you have the option.
