Powder Horn Family Camping Resort — Reviews

Rated5.0out of 5Fantastic!
Great time at Powder Horn! My wife and I drove up from New Jersey with our dog and pop-up camper and we had a great time! The pools are beautiful, the campground itself was maintained beautifully and we loved the location, just one mile from the beach in Old Orchard beach. We also went up to Portland and had a blast up there! I totally recommend this place

It was ok but my spot had all dirt and no grass. Also there is nothing for dogs to do while. I get it, it is geared towards kids but my dog is my kid... Otherwise, the grounds were clean

Powder Horn camping is absolutely the best camping I have seen in the last 5 years of camping. The staff is really nice and helpful, the camping is clean and quiet in the evening and night. Really close to the beach also. If I go back in Maine, I will book again the Powder Horn camping!!!

Thank you for your kind words. We appreciate you choosing Powder Horn as your place to stay in Old Orchard Beach! Our team works hard to provide the best experience for all guests. We are so happy to hear you enjoyed connecting with our staff during your stay. We hope to see you again soon!

We stayed here for several nights. It was exceptionally clean and safe. The only issues were with poor internet and cell service. We never could sync our TV to receive cable. For those family members for which TV and internet were essential to a happy stay, it caused some frustration.

Very clean resort, lovely hot tubs and pools with your choice of warmth. Bathrooms and showers kept spotless. Even on a busy weekend it doesn't feel overcrowded. Very easy drives to beaches, restaurants, Portland.

Amazing staff who were so accommodating and welcoming while also being clear about rules and expectations with amazing professionalism. Community feel, cleanliness across the board, so many amenities included in price, layout made the whole grounds feel like little nooks and crannies rather than a massive site… all the way up to the end I kept being surprised by one wonderful thing or another. Never thought I would enjoy being at this type of facility for camping but immediately trying to figure out our dates for next year.
