Prairie Creek Park — Reviews

We always have a great time here. Our group camps here twice a year. The grounds are always well maintained. The restrooms are always stocked and cleaned. Ron makes us feel welcomed every time we come.

The park is quiet and clean, both the on grounds and office staff is friendly and helpful.

Very well maintained campground. Good security and clean.

Neighbors walking thru our campsite where water and electric hookups are located all the time and even after dark upsetting our dogs. Lots of cars parked at campsites (6 and more). Our picnic table was not in good shape and could not be used.

Clean park

The setting was great. The atmosphere was great. The host was very nice. The wilderness walks to foot trails were all in good shape. Well maintained pleasure to walk on them. We would stay again if we were in this area.

The park is quiet and the kids enjoyed the playgrounds. The biggest issues we had were the bugs. Gnats and mosquitos overload. Seems like the park needs to be fogged. Plus they seemed to clean the bathrooms at pretty busy/inopportune times. Other than those two things, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Will we be back? More than likely. Just bring lots of bug spray.
