Our stay was wonderful. Off the highway quite a bit. Secluded and quiet. The only feedback we have is the quality of firewood for the price could’ve been better. Would definitely come back!

The area and sites are somewhat secluded and well kept. We were in loop C. Chose Raging River for the seclusion and it would have delivered, but we were there when several families camping together took over the rest of the loop. These were young families and each of them had a MINIMUM of three children each. Needless to say, it was a very active loop with everyone owning their own bicycle. This is no reflection on the campground itself, it delivered to us as much as the rest of the occupants of our loop. I'm just stating that under these circumstances in particular, we were not secluded and felt like we were intruding on their space, since they took over the entire area. I'm not exaggerating when I say there at least 35 children, mostly under 10, the majority being under 5. Crying was common from the time they woke up till they went to bed. They owned the loop and had a ball! We felt we were in a nursery, not exactly what we had in mind for camping for three nights. This is no reflection on Raging River, just something to be aware of that can happen. Next time we'll go to Ripping River instead.
