As two gay, retired men living in a 37ft fifth wheel and traveling across the states, we recently had the opportunity to stay at Rainbow Village RV Resort in Zephyrhills, Florida. Overall, our experience was quite pleasant, earning it a solid three-star rating. First and foremost, the location of the park was ideal for our nomadic lifestyle. Situated in a beautiful area with easy access to nearby attractions and natural wonders, it provided us with ample opportunities for exploration and adventure. We thoroughly enjoyed the scenic views and the sense of freedom that came with being surrounded by nature. The park itself had decent amenities to offer. The full hook-up sites were spacious enough to accommodate our large fifth wheel comfortably, and the utilities worked well during our stay. The park staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that we had a smooth check-in process and providing us with useful information about the local area. While the park had some recreational facilities, such as a swimming pool and a community center, we found that they could benefit from some updates and improvements. One aspect that stood out to us was the sense of community among fellow RVers. We had the opportunity to meet and interact with other like-minded individuals, sharing stories and experiences. It was heartwarming to connect with people from different backgrounds and form new friendships during our stay. In summary, Rainbow Village RV Resort provided us with a pleasant stay as we continued our journey as adventurous nomads. While there were areas that could be improved, the location, friendly staff (Marsha and Tracey) and the sense of community made our experience enjoyable. We would recommend this park to fellow travelers seeking a convenient base for exploring the surrounding area.
