Ramble at Great Sand Dunes National Park — Reviews

This is the most unique and well thought out camp site I’ve been to yet. I was very impressed by every detail.

Excellent and accomadating host, Adam and Matt in maintenance was amazing for helping us after locking keys in car. The entire site is beautiful and clean. We loved the eco friendly hot showers and bathrooms. We loved the 2.5 miles trail that goes around and through the acreage of Ramble. We highly recommend Ramble for tent camping!

This was genuinely the best camping experience I have ever hard and I have been camping my whole 25+ years of life. The camp host checked in on us and made sure we knew if anything important was happening around the site. The amenities were transcendent- they were sustainable, conscientious, and enjoyable. I felt like I was fully in nature yet still had the luxury of conveniences that I really like when camping. I wish there was a Ramble in every state

Ramble was one of the nicest campgrounds we stayed at during our 3 month journey out west from Florida. Gorgeous vistas of the mountains on all sides of Ramble. Gas grills, table & chairs under a canvas awning. Great flush toilets all around the site. We had a truly exceptional experience at Ramble.

Great place. Clean amenities, well maintained, not the cheapest but way good value for cost. Friendly staff, cheap firewood, rentals for the dunes, very close to the dunes. Clean flush toilets and showers. It's hard to find on Google maps. But it resets to the correct location once you're on the 6. It's a desert campsite, but they even had little conveniences like, bug spray, 🌞 lotion. Propane grills and fire rings plus the shade canvas. And even has a little four wheel cart at each site to help you schlep your stuff up the max 25 is feet from vehicle to camp.

Amazing location just a beautiful 20 minute drive from the dunes. Facilities and modern, clean, and so enjoyable. When it was hot in the middle of the day we were happy to have the shade provided at the site. I will definitely be back!

Great utilities and activities! Also good location near the sand dunes!

The site it self was fantastic! Made getting away for a weekend so much easier and fun. The views were incredible. The night sky was insane. The camp was so thoughtfully crafted. Can’t wait to return.

Everything is very nice done, modern and the landscape is amazing.

This place was amazing with all the amenities. Super clean and quiet. Camp host was really nice and friendly. If you want to camp and not have to bring too many things then this is your campsite. Hoping more of these campsites would open up in different states. Nice touch with orbs.

really well thought out layout and amenities.

Campsite 15 had everything we needed for a large family, along with a great location. Also, the solar power system was enough to run a CPAP machine all night long. The bathrooms and showers were clean and worked great. The staff was friendly, responsive and helpful.
